Bill Simmons went through his mail bag today and one of his readers made a possibly monumental suggestion: the ultimate fantasy sport.

The concept would need a lot of work obviously but basically you could have a once per year draft. You could draft anybody from the 3 major sports - NFL, NBA, MLB and you could combine the points per league.

Some possible ways to run the league would be based on points per game - with a minimum amount of games required - if you could set up the scoring system so that the top, average, and subpar players across the 3 sports could have similar averages.

Another way would be a rotisserie league... although that would be considerly less exciting if some categories are already decided before the other sports begin. That concept might work better if it's a keeper league.

So what do you guys think? Is this a concept that interests you? What type of setup could work best for this type of league?
