    At 1:30pm, I got an e-mail that I had won the "second chance" drawing for Phillies NLDS tickets, which is worthless, given I'm in Boston and need more than 1 day's notice to make travel plans (plus it's my buddy's bachelor party tomorrow). Anyway, I figured I'd buy anyway and sell at face value to friends back home. Put in Best Available, and this is what I got (second chance, mind you):



    Awesome.

    Trying to flip on StubHub now. If I can't profit well, they go to my buddy at face value, but I'd easily trade the profit plus to be able to use them. Dang.

    So forgive my naivety but you are in Boston and said tix obv are in Phila, you stubhub them and then what happens? Buyer picks up at will call window (thought picture ID was needed for this) or is there some electronic StubHub ticket thingy?

    Go Phils obv.

    Edit: oh and yes... Jay's idea please, he will probably be drunk and will possibly piss himself on national TV

    Stubhub partners with MLB. I got .pdf copies of my tickets. Stubhub asks me for section, row, seat, and barcode from tickets, validates with the Phillies, and when someone buys the tickets, they download their own copy of the ticket. I'm fairly positive it even creates new barcodes, so you can't sell them, then go way early and beat the other person in. Technology rules.

    Angel Hernandez (umpire) gave me some tickets tonight for tomorrow's game. I really hope I can make it.
