When I opened opened this sweet thread I thought to myself "Oh shit, here we go again" but then I thought to myself "hey, it's Kowboy talking about football" so the whole purpose of this thread does not have much credibility. Yeah we get it, Michigan is completely reloading for the first time since 1960 something. I'm sure you made some funny joke last year about the App St. game in September and then you were nowhere to be found when Michigan went down to Florida 8 1/2 months ago and punched your team in the face.

No way LSU said anything like that to Miles. If anything they sucked him off and begged him to stay. Michigan has way more tradition and is a more sought after job than LSU

A lot more goes into it rather than just saying LSU is better cause Miles chose LSU. He can use the Michigan job offer as a way to get a better contract from LSU. He would have to move his family if he left for Michigan. While all this was going on LSU was getting ready to play in the SEC title game and the NC which made it hard for him to leave at the time. He already has support from LSU. So say he has a bad couple seasons he knows LSU will keep him around. There's a chance he could go to Michigan and not put up great results the first couple years and get fired which wont happen at LSU. So he has more job security at LSU. Besides all that if LSU was not playing in the NC or a BCS game lst year Miles would be the Michigan coach right now.
