    I know I made a thread about this a while back, so I figured id update you guys. I mentioned it a couple times in some threads, but I want to make a new one to maybe get some ideas and such.

    Me and Sweetness are leaving for San Diego on friday. We are driving. Its gonna be a 10 day, 3500 mile, 6 city trip. And its going to be awesome. Im almost more excited for the road trip then the actual move. From Jersey, we are going to go to Chicago (we got tickets to the bears game this sunday), Missouri (his parents live somewhere there), then Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas (on christmas eve and christmas), then finally out to San Diego.

    Since rent is ridiculous out there and we didnt want to sign any leases, we are subletting a room in a house. So me and him are sharing a 25x18 room in a house with a few other guys. The living situation should be interesting to say the least lol. I figure that if I dont wake up the first morning in a tub full of ice, missing a kidney, then It should be considered a success.

    Everything fell into place for me a little late, so I actually dont have a job lined up yet. Thats the only shitty part. Ill be able to pay rent, so thats all that matters. Plus, my current company already said they are going to hire me back when/if I decide to come back to Jersey.

    Pretty sure we arent going to know anyone out there. I know wantagolf and Mrs Robinson/theraise are out there, but thats it. We are going to be in northern SD, so any help on what to do, where to go would be helpful. Sweetness might know some shit, but i am going to be completely clueless. Ive never even visited the city before.

    Should be fun and im looking forward to the experience. Ive never packed my life into a couple bags and a car and just moved away before. Ive lived on my own plenty, but I just know Im bound to over look a few things that I need to bring or do.

    Anyway, thats it. Sorry its kinda long.


    Cliffs

    -Moving to SD with Sweetness
    -driving there on a 10 day road trip
    -sharing a room with him and living with random roomates
    -ive never been there and I dont have a job yet
    -I hope skinny blonde bitches out there love my jersey "accent"

    Good luck on the trip and we will def have to have a welcome to San Diego OT get together once you guys are settled.

    jealous as shit. did pretty much the same thing a couple years ago and went to LA, then the DOJ fucked everything up. i also dropped my camera out of my sunroof taking a picture of the Welcome to California sign after taking 450 pics on the trip. dont do that. have a blast man.

    I can't imagine being single and living anywhere but the beach areas or downtown. What is North County? I hope not Poway, Escondido, San Marcos etc.

    Good luck in SD, it would be one of the places I would consider moving to if we moved back to the US.

    Proud of you for being able to show up in SD with a functioning liver after that roadie. (although only time will tell if thats actually the case )

    49ers have a home playoff game that we might try to hit. And I already looked. Phillies play the Padres during the first month of the season. Pretty pumped.

    Also, what the hell do we do for New years? LA? Vegas? Somewhere in SD?

    Welcome to SD guys! You'll hate it here. Nothing worse than girls in sundresses in the middle of December although it might be tougher for Sweetness to find a gangbang unless you go by the sport arena.

    I thought you were moving to Clairmonte? You in north county now? Where?

    I was thinking...I'm not going to judge Sweetness but I have 2 kids ....I can't imagine leaving them for that long.

    I can't tell you what a bad idea it would be to move back to Jersey and not spend the summer down here.

    Yea thats it. I just forgot the name of the section, I just new it was north of the city lol. I didnt even know there was such a place called north county.

    I really hope I find some cute thing that will get a lot of fun out of showing me the ropes out there haha. WIN

    If you stay in SD there is tons of New Years Eve parties at at clubs.

    Huh? I dont have a wife/gf, I dont have any kids, I live at home, and I have a job that is willing to hire me back when I return. I actually cant think of one "responsibility" that would keep me here. My family is here, and thats it. But theyve been here forever, and will still be here if I return. If there was ever a time in my life to do this... its right now.

    Ive had a couple people tell me its dumb, but then I explain it to them and they change their mind. I also had a ton of family and friends say they wish they were able to do something like this.
