    Right.

    I don't think Sweetness has a choice about moving though. Therefore he had two bad choices, go and bring his family six months later or rip his kids out of school to bring with now. Not a fair comparision to your case where you were choosing to move.

    Gotcha but my decision is fairly common in among the military, its just part of the game. Deployments, Detachments, Moves in the middle of school years, spouses jobs, etc. Its pretty crazy, and something im actually experiencing for the first time. When we moved from Hawaii my kid was only 3, and my wife's job transferred fairly easily with a phone interview, so shit set up nice. This time around, she was having a hard time finding a job and it would a just been a straight mess to try and get out there, find a place we could afford on my income alone since she wouldn't have a job yet and then rush to get the kid into an entirely new school and probably diff learning environment. Just tough all around. Luckily, the Marine Corps and military all around are cutting back funds significantly right now, so i suspect i will be in California for the next 6 years until i retire as PCS moves coast to coast are very costly to Uncle Sam.

    Trust me this sucks the cock, and even worse my unit is on tap to go for a full year to Afghan land in February, although currently i am only slated for the last 6 months of it.. So now its like damn, do i move them out there just to go away for awhile and then they dont know anybody out there.. I guess thats where Splackavelli Jaybone comes in, who knows. Military life can suck sometimes no doubt, but it pays the bills and is a respectable profession for a dumbass like me, so what-evs

    oh yeah, and so my wife was like so who are you driving across/moving with when i told her the plan. btw, i never tell her jaybone stories. so she said, you got a picture of him on FB.. Like a dumbass, the only ones i had are the ones at the baseball game in philli, the one at the soccer game in DC, and the W VA-LSU game. so shes not necessarily worried about me getting killed by a Craigslist killer, but she does think that I am not going to be responsible since i will be with an enabler. Bitches be crazy.. anyhow i told her you had an asspussy, and she been cool ever since
