I was playing basketball this morning and landed on the back of someones heel, not in a way to twist my ankle, but from what I remember (because it happened so fast) but I think I came down on my toes with my right heel landing on the back of some guys heel (I didn't fall or lose balance or anything). Now I have a lot of back pain in between my shoulders, to the point where I can barely move. Anyone have this or something similar happen?

Disclaimer: I have no clue what I'm talking about...
The way you landed def seems awkward and your body probably compressed weird given how you landed. Mild sprain maybe? Spine has lots of nerves running down it, maybe you pinched one funny bone style?
My prescription - Rest, heat pad, some light stretching, and a few beers. Maybe some Ibuprofen or something. -
definetely agree that it is something with your spine
i had a stiff neck last week, tossed a few heat pads on it and the pain went away
your prolly gonna feel the pain for a few days, but just rest it up and get better -
did you come down with a whole lot of force? axial loading injuries such as this can cause a spine compression fracture. if the pain is really that bad, or especially if you start having lower extremity neurologic deficits (i.e., leg weakness, numbness, tingling, etc) go seek medical attention asap.

I'm not sure, not to sound dumb because it happened fast, if that was the foot that landed first, it might have been. I think I might have landed with that leg/foot (and all my weight and force on it) and just the way I came down, just right on the guy's heel, I was still able to land fine. I know I have an above average pain tolerance but it's pretty bad...

unilateral force load strains are usually due to the paraspinals (small back muscles attached to vertebrae) being stretched on one side causing a temporary displacement of of spine. An easy way to fix this yourself is to roll up a towel and lay on a hard surface with this towel directly on your spine. Put your arms over your head and start relaxation breathing (putting knees up on chair or couch is better) for a few minutes. If after about 5 minutes you are in increased pain then get it checked out. If you can get relaxed enough you may feel your spine "pop" back into place on it's own.
Feel free to adjust your position through the hips as you relax, it's weird but you might even "feel" taller after doing this. Don't try to force staying in one position, our body has an inherent need to move and by listening to this need you'll find the right position.
Warning, when you first get up you'll be pretty stiff for a few minutes.
