  1. I somehow completely forgot/brainfarted about the fact that I did my voter registration in Tucson, Arizona.

I am currently in Los Angeles, California.

I just realized this (that my voting registration shit was in Arizona, not California)

    Is it too late?

I want to vote in favor of prop 19 obviously, and the vote for it is tomorrow.

How can I get my voter registration switched from Arizona to Cali between now and then? Is it even possible? If yes, then what am I supposed to do?

    thanks

EDIT!!!!!: All hope is not lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

My mom is a republican, and she is super duper anti-weed.

So, if I can convince her to vote in favor of prop 19 by tomorrow, then, that would more than make up for my not being able to vote in favor of it, since it would swing a "no" to a "yes, which is worth twice as much as me just voting yes instead of not voting, mathematically speaking.

Good luck me, she agreed to sit down in the family room to have a debate/discussion with me about the pros/cons of it and said if I make good points/convince her that it is better, overall for our state/country for it to pass than for it to not pass, then she'll vote in favor of it.

    Weeeeeeeeeeeeee gl me

    Edit!!!!!!!!!!: SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  5. Gold!
  6. so.... can I? or...

Seriously I don't know anything about voting or any of that stuff. The last time I voted was in 2004 when I voted for John Faggotrrey against Bush when I was 18 in Arizona.

I would've voted in the 2008 pres election, but I got high and fell asleep while I was watching a movie on my bed lol so now it's been like 6 years since the last time I voted so I don't remember much about how it works anymore.

I don't really remember the voter registration process anymore, but, from what little I remember of it, it didn't take very long at all/was no biggie.

So, is there a way for me to register to be able to vote here in Cali tomorrow, or?

  7. No, you can't. The deadline was two weeks ago.

If you get pulled over with weed in your car, explain to the officer that you MEANT to vote for Prop 19.
  8. oopsies...

    lolz

Alright, if we lose this thing by 1 vote, I will officially punish myself for it by hiring a caucasian prostitute (doubt most people understand how traumatic/horrible it would be for me to have to stoop down to having secks with a honkey, but trust me, this would be on par, if not worse than going to a russian torture chamber for 3 weeks, in psychological equivalency, so, it would be some serious shit)

    There, now it's all better.

  9. omg this thread is gold from the get-go. Can't you do a mail-in absentee vote or some shit? Call your Tucson Voting HQ and ask them?

    Good luck with Prop 19

    Good luck with Prop 19

even if this were the case, he'd be voting on arizona propositions, not california ones

speaking of which, you could vote for prop 203 in arizona (medical marijuana prop) to help ease your feelings of guilt

  12. My main selling points are going to be:

    - Will be better for the state economy for it to pass than for it not to

    - Will massively weaken the strength of the huge, violent Mexican cartel that basically is in control of Mexico right now and is starting to spill over in the U.S.

    - Will reduce the overcrowding of prisons filled with pot crime people which is a burden on the tax dollars and is just retarded/ghey since why the fuck should you go to jail jut for smoking a drug that is less bad than alcohol

    - The alcohol prohibition was pretty ghey, and didn't work, just like how this marijuana illegalness similarly also is ghey and isn't working, in that like 100+ million people are smoking weed in our country, regardless of its legality, so it's just a huge waste of the police force to have to keep trying to pwn people for smoking weed, just like how ghey the alcohol prohibition stuff in Boardwalk Empire is etc.

Okay, hopefully this works, gl me, about to start the debate/discussion with her right now

  13. If you can't convince her to vote yes, just convince her to not vote on that measure. That way it works out the same as you voting yes and her voting no.

  16. Huh? You want her to vote FOR Prop 19 if you want cannabis legalized.....
  17. Alkjfkljsdfklsdfj I meant she decided to go against her previous stance. She is going to vote yes on prop 19, I was just too pumped up/amped about my success to type the sentence correctly

  18. hey bfactor, my friend moved (just like 10 miles away) but when he went to vote the address change hadn't gone through yet but he just had to fill out a piece of paper and they let him vote, so you should give it a try. just go to your local place and be like "Wha? it didn't go thru yet? wtf?" and maybe you can still vote. glglgl and vote repub
  19. VOTER FRAUDQELJDJLKSDFLJDFL!!!!!

Your friend may have voted on a provisional ballot - which requires the voter to later prove that they were a legitimate voter in that precinct. If they moved within the precinct and their name was on the rolls, then of course they were allowed to vote.
  20. This is a feel good thread
