woot. so far, anyways. I was saying this from the beginning, and idiots kept trying to get sports gambling and bj/craps etc included.

In breaking news, Senior United States District Judge Jack Weinstein has ruled that poker does not constitute illegal gambling
  6. Nice, you can play when you finally turn 18 now, jeff
  7. What I meant is that the DOJ has long ago concluded that poker is
A skill game. Its convincing the lawmakers that is the biggest hurdle
  8. pretty sure it's the banks we need to convince. if the doj was so clear why did the banks refuse to do poker transfers openly? I mean, i can understand for blatantly illegal sites like bodog (who apparently is still operating in the us?? so confusing this shit is) but ftp/stars?

  15. This stuff always gives me hope... Then I wake up, go to work... And day dream about playing poker for a few days... Then I realize it's not gonna happen for a long time...

You do know that you can still play on the merge network right?
  17. So there's some speculation that DOJ statement, then this case may mean offshore Poker companies may enter the US market. Wonder if this would be enough to rile up congress to act so they don't miss the boat.

  28. REPUBLICANS MADE LAWS RULING IT IS ILLEGAL FOR BANKS TO TRANSFER MONEY TO GAMBLING SITES

Reason: caps to accommodate Amartini's absense tonight
  29. And that has what to do with poker sites? This is what I said from the beginning. There was no reason for the banks to not do transfers with poker-only sites. Their idiocy led to the fucking shell corps which led to bf. All this bullshit for no mf reason.
