  1. lol @ a gator fan ever complaining about calls not going their way, you have to be kidding. UF looked really really bad last week was down 6-0 and Miami was driving before the Jenkins 70 yd int for a td that completely changed the game. I would love to see UF lose just dont think its going to happen this week, going to have to wait til end of month at Bama.

Agree about the Bama game Oct. 2nd. Going to be ugly if they continue to play like this.
  5. He must have missed the part where Florida had 28 total yards with 10 minutes to go.
  6. September 18th...

    Should be a snoozefest.
  7. I agree if your center can't get the ball to Brantley. I just hope ya'll can muster up more than 30 yards of offense through 3 quarters.

i def watched the game last week, and they were down 6-0 in the 2nd quarter with Miami driving again when jenkins picked it for a 70 yd td to put UF up 7-6?!? maybe it was 3-0 but it was into the 2nd quarter

im not gonna get into alot, gator fans have obv been extremely spoiled by Tebow and are probably the most ignorant and obnoxious fans there are. losing one of the best college QBs of all time, spikes, hayden, dunlap, hernandez etc that they think there will be no dropoff. its gonna be fun watching uf lose 4 games this year...

Its not his fault he can't get a rhythm because of a bad o-line and constant bad snaps. Demps and Rainey looked perfect towards the end of the game once they figured it out. Teams take time to work together, game day speed is not something that can be simulated. The last quarter we were 10 times better.

Im not making excuses u brain lacking dick rider imhooks, pay attention to what I say after you rewatch the game. I stated that once they figured out their issues it was an easy game. Wait til next week. Anyone who thinks they won't win is just slow and lacks a true understanding for football.

could care less to as who wins between S.Fla/UF....until I read this post....Fla might be the 4th best team in Fla

    Bump!

I was right and everyone who responded was wrong...

I seem to be the only person who correctly responded with a true understanding of football knowledge (yes I played college football)

Lets hear the haters hate before i respond

Lol you sound like such a douche bag...Florida has looked ok against one poor team, and another mediocre team...good luck in the SEC this year. South Carolina gonna beat that ass
  17. Fuck the Gators.

FSU fans talking shit about UF is pretty loltastic tho.

Considering the time I took to make myself sound like a douche bag. (because almost every single response in this thread was pure hate or lack of true football knowledge) than Ill accept that as a compliment and a success on my part.

But to be honest. People don't understand football that well. I don't like hearing responses to items that people really lack the knowledge to offer their responses to. You won't find me posting reponses to the many OT threads that I have an opinion on but I do not fully understand because I don't like to post without complete respect and understanding of both sides of an argument, and proper information to cite that argument. For everyone to come in here and rant about the gators suck, the gators will lose 4 games, the gators are the worst team in florida, the gators this and that, well that is just ignorant people who lack the intelligence to know that those things are the opposite of true. If someone comes in here with a well thought out response/opinion based on facts on why the gators suck/are worse than USF/will lose 4 games, etc than I'm all ears and respect those responses and I'm able to the other side of the argument's validity. Unfortunately that hasn't occurred ITT. It is filled with haters and short responses.

I on the other hand responded using facts. My facts proved true. And the Gators will continue to get better as a team. They lost their standout players from every position. Game day speed cannot be simulated. This team needs some time to work together on the field to understand each other and play off each others strengths and weaknesses. Anyone who watched the games knows that they have the talent to be the #1 team. They must get passed their issues penalties/run defense/ everything described above. That takes a few games plain and simple. Anyone with real football knowledge understands that...
  19. Florida is good...but they aren't National title good...With the way the BCS works you can't be "getting better as a team". It's win or go home. And with a game against Alabama coming up in a couple weeks, they better have it together or else they will get smashed. And to say Brantley has played well is a massive over-statement. He has looked decent at best. And he has to play better or else they will lose 4 games in the SEC this year.

Obviously I don't truly believe we can go undefeated. That would be foolish, but I do think we have the potential to be a 1-2 loss team (with a weaker SEC this year). If we progress, as I think we will, it is possible we beat Bama and win a few other close/key games. That being said, it's not impossible for us to go undefeated, although highly unlikely.

I've been watching college/NFL/HIGH SCHOOL football since I was a child extremly, I've been/played in 100s of games. *IMO, especially after being at both games this season, Brantley is one of the best pocket quarterbacks I've ever watched in person. He hasn't played to his potential yet because lets face it, he is following up to arguably the greatest college quarterback of all time.Early in both games he has looked antsy and jumpy. BUT he settled down in both games. He is one of the most accurate and calm quarterbacks I've ever seen throw the ball. He sits in the pocket has a pure delivery. If any1 sucks on our team it is 100% our receiving core and nothing else. Everyone is young. This is where we will lose games. As for your statement about Brantley, he has played well, he can (and will) play 10 times better, he is a slave to receivers who make him look worse than he really is.

Then you must have not seen a lot of QB's in person...He's prolly the 6th best QB in the SEC right now...And the fact you say he is the best, but say he hasn't played to his potential makes your statement bullshit. And stop with this "I'm more knowledgeable than everyone cause I played football." Yeah so did a lot of people on this forum...I'm one of them, and I earned a college scholarship too. Brantley is not as good as you are building him up to be.
  22. OT sports talk, folks.
