    Basically the link is a story about a pony league champ game in utah, its two outs in the last inning and the winning team is on the mound. Coach decides to intentionally walk a kid thats went 2-3 in the game to load the bases because a handicapped kid is up to bat next. Three pitches later the kid strikes out and starts crying, and alot of parents in the stand boo the coach and now media has been on his ass, saying that theres more important lessons to teach other than winning in youth sports.

    What would you guys do here? I mean it is a champ game, your kids deserve to win just as much as the others right? And the kid isnt that mentally disabled.Plus what are you teaching your kids if you dont show them that winning is everything? Then they wouldnt grow up to be good poker players.

    Stop talking about this now...Jim Rome had the kids father on this week...sad story...nothin is worth winning that much...im gonna get fired up...its 9 yr old kids...no one cares about winning except the parents

    And the parents that are bitching about it are the same ones that believe in affirmitive action, not spanking kids and vote for democrats like John Kerry and Cynthia McKinney!!!!

    What's interesting is what would be said if the kid hit a grand slam, wouldn't this be a huge story of triumph? If the coach was going to be a dick and intentionally walk to get to the kid though, he could have been more slick about it and told his pitcher to throw 4 pitches out of the strike zone and make it look believable.
