  1. Hey all,

I just finially finshed my recovery from the Van Halen show on Wednesday night. :)

Being a huge VH fan my whole life it provided me great joy to see Roth back and performing with the band. I have scene Van Haggar on several other occasions but the only real VH is with Dave.

The show pretty much rocked from begining to end. I think they played every song off VH1 probably half of songs 1984 and two or three songs off the all the other Roth era albums.

All members took some solo time on stage including Ed's kid who is playing bass on this tour. I gotta give the kid props. For only being 16 he did a great job of holding the bass end down and was tight as hell with Alex.

I think Dave is still a little out of touring form. He seemed to be winded by the end of the show and he flubbed some lyrics (only the hard core fans would notice). However they did rock it hard for about 2 hours so I really can't complain.

Eddie, well Eddie did what Eddie does and that is play guitar like no one else on the planet. He is sick sick sick. Truley a spetical to watch.

    I highly recomend this show!

    :)
  2. I saw them at Alpine Valley a while ago and watching David Lee Roth jump around and do high (which are more like medium now) kicks in tight leather pants was one of the most retarded things I have ever witnessed along with the large volume of middle age people re-living their youth with tye dyes and receding hair lines.
  3. Thanks for your response!

    I guess.

  4. I feel sorry for kids these days, they don't know good music when they see/hear it! Thanks for the recommendation. I will try to see this show if they come to my area. I'll have my tie dyed shirt ready for the occasion :)
