Me and my brother are going next year. It will be the first time in vegas for both of us. We arrive march 29th, and stay till april 6th. If any OTers are in vegas then, let me know.
-
Week in Vegas....all I can say is pace yourself.
-
Week can be a long time in Vegas. Trip to Zion or Grand Canyon would be a great idea
Far as being there, better to ask in March -
premature threadation imo
-
What is Zion? We are considering going to grand canyon. And there is no way we could stay any shorter, when it takes us 19 hours each way.
-
I was out there 10 days ago and got a LIFE-time ban from Cosmo. It was Epic. Wrote to security last week. No go. Stilll bant. Said don't even contact until 1 yr has passed. Unfortunatly a friend of a friend broke the rules, hurt someone. I am more pissed at that guy then pretty much anyone ever.

Zion is a national park in Utah about 3 hours from Vegas. Has tons of great hikes, at least two of which are world class called Angels Landing and The Narrows
View of Angels Landing 1/2 way up

View from top of Angels landing

The Narrows you hike through the river with 2000 foot canyon walls shooting up on both sides

Goes to vegas... Visitis national park. -
I spent 3 weeks in Vegas that trip, maybe more. Been to Vegas probably 40x
-
2 cities I have spent the most time in are Vegas and Macau. I notice a trend
-
40 times? Sounds expensive. How much you spend? $42.78?
-
lol if it costed me money most trips to be in Vegas I don't think I would have been that many times. I'm definitely up in Vegas lifetime. Superficial people getting dressed up and overpaying for bottle service aint for me (know it's not for you either)

Scha reschedule your trip and come during March Madness. Best week in Vegas. Sweetnessand others will be here
-
We save about $1k in tax write-off if we go during the exhibition so... The trip is also booked now. Our gf's got pissed as hell when they found out we booked the trip, and then even more pissed when they found out we leave easter weekend. We went to Berlin in april this year, and they were not too happy about that either. gfs gonna gf

Edit: A couple of questions:
- When we go out drinking, what are the chances we need to show ID? I'm 30, my brother is 27, we both look 25ish.
- Will they accept a norwegian visa/bank card? Will they accept a norwegian drivers license? I really REALLY don't want to lose my passport, and there is about a 50% chance I will if I have to bring it every time I go drinking. -
You need your passport in Vegas. I know for gambling they wont accept a drivers license that is not US or Canadian in most casinos if not all. Drinking is probably similar. They will definitely card you too
-
Legit LOL

i only wish everything could escalate from here....like dan akroyd in trading places...only you get stuck living with the hooker and wearing her fur coat for the rest of your life -
You probably won't get carded a lot but if you do you def want a passport to avoid any hassles.
-
Dude I'm 36, have grey hair, half bald and don't even drink and get carded about 50% of the casino's I'm in Vegas.
-
lol at getting carded in vegas...I have been prob 8 times and been carded maybe that many times...usually I get pissed off when they ask for ID and just leave even tho clearly of age...
-
I'm ok carrying around my passport during the day. But when I go out drinking to get wasted it would be so much better if I could leave it at the hotel, both so I don't lose it, but also so they won't let me gamble when I'm beyond wasted.

Edit: my visa cards got that bird hologram logo. What are the chance they will accept it as ID?
