    When playing Jacks or Better VP and your first five are a low pair (two 10s or lower) And one high card (j, q, k, a). Do you hold the two low card pair and hope for trips (3:1 payout) or hold the high card, low pair and hope for trips, two pair, or one pair?

    You will never get a Royal Flush with small pairs that dont pay.

    True, but only scrap the pair and spin for the Royal if at least three of the cards are the same suit.

    hold the pair.

    there are tons of free video poker sites that tell you how to play optimally although I don't remember any off hand. google it.

    The far left column shows the return based on a five coin bet. It's the pair ANIEC.

    You hold the pair only.

    If you mean for example your board is 5-5-8-2-K ....you hold the pair only.

    does hitting say qq33x pay better than 3322x? i thought 2 pair was a flat rate
