using daemon tools to mount an iso..get the message " you must be an administrator to install (program name)"
that's all it shows..no options to enter password or nothing
I'm on the administrator account...wtf suggestions please

I'm not sure, but try right clicking followed by 'run as admin'

tried starting deamon tools by right clicking its icon in the start menu and ran as administrator..but still same result after mounting the image.

Quick fix:

You should leave User Account Control (UAC) enabled because it helps protect you from spyware and viruses. If you frequently make configuration changes to your computer and your sick of the UAC confirmation prompts (I feel your pain), you can disable UAC by following these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, click User Accounts And Family Safety.
3. Click User Accounts.
4. Click Turn User Account Control On Or Off. -
no it's my girlfriends moms comp, but don't think she's ready to dump vista just yet..
under all programs i can't even find the windows vista security truzzy..
