  1. So I'm going to get a 37 Inch HDTV. I'm thinking i'm going with the 37 inch Vizio from Costco. I did the search function and read most likely good things about Vizio (I read one post saying someone had to return it) but wanted to see if anyone had a strong feels one way or another

    My other question is that i'm going to pick this up at Costco. Isn't it true with Costco that I can return this at any time if I want to exchange it or something? I'm thinking this is a party nice feature since if I put a TV at Best Buy i'd have to buy the protection crap.

    Thanks in advance for any answers and sorry for this being a boring post
  2. I just picked up the 32 inch LG HDTV from costco and one of the main reasons what their really lax 90 day return policy. I believe its 90 days to return no questions asked and a 2 year factory warranty.

  3. Here are the video test results for that model

    What all this means is the color is pretty good. Nice and bright but they blacks are not very deep, overall it's a very average TV. The thing I HATE about Vizzio is there warranty sucks ass. It's 1 year mail in only, At your expense. That my firend is horrid.
  4. I've got

    the 48" & the 37" Vizio and would buy them again in a hearbeat. A+A+A+

    As for the warranty, Costco changed their policy because of abusive customer practices but, If you have any issue, I'm think Costco would take care of ya.

    Costco = A+++

    Ugot

    (full disclosure, i don't work for Costco but I do own stock)
  5. I have the VS370 in my office at home, no complaints at all, really does well.
  6. got the same tv about 3 years ago (actually refurbished or wahtever so for a good deal less) and it's still lasting me and i am very pleased
  7. IMO, Vizio is one of the better "less expensive" models. Really, it's hard to argue with getting a decent 37" flatpanel for under 700 beans. In the end, it boils down to what matters most to you. If price is a main driver, you gotta go with the best you can afford. If you want the best stuff out there, it's Samsung or Sony, with my personal preference (all things considered) being towards the former.
  8. we just bought the vizio 37" for our bedroom and love it. costco rocks. as far as returns, as somebody already mentioned earlier in this thread, there is now a 90 day return policy on all electronics due to people abusing their generous return system.
  9. I work at Costco and to be honest, I see quite a few of Vizios returned daily.
  10. I just checked sams club online and it appears you can buy a 37" Samsung or Panasonic from $697-748. The Samsung was $748 and it comes with a 1 yr in home warranty.

    I would pay a little more to go with one of these as long as the specs are the same or better.

    If I can get a Samsung at Sam's Club for 748 I'll definitely do that. I was like at 800+ for all Samsung 37s hence the desire to go with the Vizio. thanks for the tip!
