  3. everyone on our campus is wearing orange+maroon today.

  4. What college do you go to Nickc011?
  5. no offense or anything, but how long are people going to keep making new threads about this? i mean it is a horrible tragedy and everything, but this media frenzy is sick, and people are latching onto it. Honestly I think some people just have some morbid obsession with this story. I realize this is a tribute, but I really think we need tomove on and give the family members of the dead time to grieve on theirown. Furthermore, hundreds of people are dying every week in Iraq and you'll see that somewhere inbetween sports and weather on your local news.
  6. ^^^ I disagree..

All I see on the news is that fuckin piece of human fecal material.. Not nearly enough on the victims.

  7. ^^^Unless you knew them or were directly affected, what do you get out of seeing news coverage of the victims?

I am not trying to downplay it, it was horrible and sad, but you can really only take it so far. I swear if see something sold on behalf of this tragedy, I will explode. Sort of like the "freedom kits" after 9/11.
  8. I don't " get " anything from it..

I guess it bothers me that most of the media reports focus on that spineless tird instead of the innocent people that were killed..

Geez, I'm shocked that folks are so bothered by this post..

    Modz please delete.

  9. I think the most overlooked part of the tragedy is that the killer was a fucking emo loser. I mean, in his "manifesto", he wrote "You have vandalized my heart, raped my soul and torched my conscience." It sounds like he plagiarised a fucking Hawthorne Heights lyric. I felt really bad about it, but when I read what he wrote, I couldn't stop laughing. I just hope to god this doesn't start a mass wave of emo killings. "Oh God, there's blood, mascara, and hair spray everywhere!"

I had to get that off my chest. No offense at all intended to any of the victims, but as much offense as humanly possible intended for G.I. Emo McFuckstain and the imminent copycat losers.
  10. I do agree with the "killers" coverage. Nobody should ever see that. It's just a small spark and idea for the crazy folks out there. There is no benefit from that, and I hope kids weren't watching the other day when all of it came out. Showing videos of nutbags is the most unproductive thing the news could have done.
  11. ^^^^

    couldn't agree more..

Some whackjob, wannabe Cho is in his parents' basement whacking off on his picture as we speak..

  12. James Madison University, we're about 100 miles edit: NORTH of Virginia Tech.

About 16,000 kids go here, closest in size/distance to VT, and alot of people in Virginia go to one or the other, as they specialize in different things. So many people here have close ties to Tech.

  13. JMU is actually 130 miles north of Virginia Tech

  14. oops, right you are. Guess i had south in my head because you take 81 south to get there!

Wasnt sure about the mileage either, but knew it was a little under 2 hrs.

  15. there is a blue and white game here tomorrow (first string vs. second string), going to be a VT zone instead of the S for State for the aerial view, and everyone attending is wearing a VT shirt. i think it's a good idea and more campuses should keep doing things like this to pay tribute
