was that ending a good payoff for all the time they spent looking for sophia, people who hated that they were looking for sophia?
-
Really enjoyed that episode. They left us on a solid note heading into the second half of the season. Awesome twist with Sophia being inside the barn. Saw little sneak clip during Hell on Wheels and it was them question Herschel as they walked back into the house following the massacre. I'll def. be tuning in for the second half of the season. Feb 12, 2012.

Reading some of the articles written about last nights episode, it appears that the general consensus is anti Shane. Am I the only one who identifies with the actions Shane is taking? I can't see any other logical decision than thinking of protecting the human race and that is what Shane is doing. The cast is in a war where there will be casualties. The lines of right and wrong are clearly blurred in a situation when like this, but there are going to be many instances where there is no easy answer.
To me, Shane provided the exact spark everyone needed to realize they are in a daily fight for their own survival and the larger goal of having the human race survive. -
shane is probably ex military and trained very well in controlling his emotions and doing what it takes for the sake of survival.
shane should have been with the government and on the forefront of destroying all the zombies but was stuck with lori, protecting her because rick couldnt himself.
its like what glenn said, "i forgot that we were in danger" or whatever. this had to be a reality check but everyone is in a weird spot right now. -
soooo awesome. thats all.

Thought the last few episodes were pretty boring if im honest but although Shane is acting a bit psychotic i agree with him in principal. The world is gone to shit but they are to respect Herschels law because its 'his' farm?
Move on because he says? or let the walkers stay in the barn?
Shane is right -
I was thinking the last zombie out would be Daryls brother and then someone would go up and shoot him and then Daryl would flip out and shoot that person....gg my dreams of being a TV writer lolz
-
Shane wants to be proactive with his survival style so I hope in the second half he gets over this idea of needing to be around Lori and goes out on his own. I don't even feel like the people on the farm are surviving, they are just waiting for something bad to come their way. We need to explore some new settings that this farm and wooded area do not provide. Split the groups up and cover some new unexplored area and start to get some indicators that there is human life else where that can be worked towards.

the finale really made up for a lame season 2

I may be a total dunce, but how did sophie exactly end up in the barn? she basically stumbled over to the farm, decided to go in the barn, since it was quiet cause the zombies were doing that quiet stumbling around. Then basically got bit, turned into one and joined in the stumbling for like a week?
Also, i was getting super tired of this old man's farm rules. Like seriously the whole world is fucked up and he says no guns on property, you have to leave soon ect.?
It just seems like basically wouldn't you just say "no, we are staying fuck you" Like its a little to civilized feeling, given the circumstances. (zombie land) when is basic, haste decision, survival of the fittest going to kick in, where they aren't so tame and respectful? -
she got chewed then got stuck in the mud pitt that rick and old dood roped the zombies up from
otis (fat guy who shane sacrificed) was the only one who roped in the zombies before he died and otis never knew that the group was looking for a little girl. so had shane not shot him they would have known she was zombied quite a while ago. -
this last episode is just so awesome man i love this show dude!!!!

am i the only one who gets a huge boner just from the intro music this show is boss

Wat are you two for real? good last 8-9 minutes you mean right? this whole season has been terribad. i dont care about any of the characters, almost all of them are terrible actors especially rick. they're living on a goddamn magic farm, every episode including this one is mindless blabble that idgaf about for one second, this show has become terrible, but for some reason i cant stop watching gawddamnit that final scene will prolly bring me back after the stupid breakOriginally Posted by Niceguy
Loved the episode.
What a twist, cuz that person is alive well into the graphic novel.
absolutely not, 6.5 episodes of mindless/hopeless/retarded search for little girl THAT NO ONE CARES OR KNOWS ABOUT. seriously, for the people that think the show is good, did you have any feelings about lil girl being a zombie? did it have any emotional impact on you at all? or did you just think ok w.e. another zombie, k cyaOriginally Posted by Donkey Kong

Shane is by far the best character, he's the only character on the entire show withan ounce of fucking logic/common sense in his body, wat a GOAT reaction from him from seeing hershall and rick herding zombies back towards the farmOriginally Posted by gamaitec

As much as i hate this season right now, i do look forward to the kickass intro -
Then don't watch? Love the people that hate on a show and yet take the time to type up why they don't like it and then criticize those that do like it. Oh and of course you will be back watching when it starts back up in February. Just stfu already

And yeah I had a reaction to Sophia coming out of the barn. It's a huge blow for the entire group, especially Rick since he is going to feel 100% responsible.
It was a great episode to cap off a very slow first 6 episodes.
FTR I never said this season has been good or that the acting was fantastic or w/e garbage you were spewing in your post. -

Reason: Scumbag Shane brilliant -
Did anyone else know that the guy playing Rick was a full blown British actor?
-
yes. read that, and that while filming, even between takes and shoots, he sticks with the southern accent.

I was right about the barn, but never saw Sophia coming out of it. I honestly figured the last walker out would be Hershel wife, and we'd see him go apeshit as she got shot. I figured finding Sophia would happen in the first episode of the next season and kick off their next set of adventures.
I've started to like Hershel. He's going to be a bad ass next season. I hope he's learned what zombies really are. I hated shane and his monkey looking face, but now, I think he's the shit. IDK he shot otis 5 feet from the truck anymore. Hell, he had to do what was needed to save his ass. I thought it was awesome he opened the Barn and made a shooting gallery out of the zombies. However, I was afraid he was going to kill Dale, and that woulda sucked, but Shane is right, they needed the guns. Dale trying to get rid of them was stupid.
All in all, i enjoyed every episode this season. Well done! I was thoroughly entertained. (even tho, to be honest, it took me the entire season to know everyone's name, and I still dont know the Brothers name) -
I still don't really understand why the farm house is not fortified and why anyone would imagine that you don't need guns there. Even if you are not worried about zombies for some reason you could still run into human gangs that might rape/kill you. I would dig a 5' x 8' trench around the farm house using a backhoe at the very least.
