One year 2 mil. with a possible 2nd year. Not bad i guess. seems like washington had a pretty decent off season. making life even worse for a mets fan. sigh

  3. lollllllll

they improved way too much for my liking.
  4. Depends which Wang they got. He's capable of making you damn proud. I would have thought the Yankees would hold on to him just so they can sell shitloads of Yankee caps to the Taiwanese. Wang is a God to those people.

yea unfortunately im preparing for the mets to fall to the bottom of the nl east, seems like he might have even been a decent pick up for that cheap.

  8. yea not happy bout this, and not happy about them gaining pudge's experience...at least i have zero expectations for us this year
  9. go Nats go

been cheering for them cause i use to cheer for the Expos til they moved.

maybe there'll be something to cheer about this season, hopefully at least .500 if not contend for a wild card.
  10. Good signing but doubt they'll get much of a return. His mechanics were ridiculously out of whack after coming back from the first foot injury, even more time off can only make it worse. Would love to see him get it back though, he could dominate in that park in the NL.

  11. Woulda been a pretty decent gamble for the Mets to take. You already know that he can pitch in NYC. When his mechanics are in sync, he has flat out nasty stuff.
  12. The Mets really should have taken a flier on him. Would have been an easy low risk/high reward move. They have one #1 starter and 3 #4's. I don't see what they would've had to lose. I can't fucking wait until Minaya gets the boot, and I'm a Yankee fan.
  13. the mets are all about no risk no reward this off season.
  14. i guess madoff got a better piece of fred wilpon than we heard about

  15. nah i don't think so, from the reports i think that their accounts actually profited, but the money invested for their grandkids and such went bust. i think they just didn't profit as much as they expected to last year and they don't want to spend money to make money, just pad their pockets.
