    anyone seen this yet? im thinking of going to see it tonight...im really shocked to see that it has 76% on rottentomatoes given that its steven spielberg and was nominated for a bunch of golden globes...i was expecting 90-95% but now i have a feeling that its gonna be boring as shit...anyone with any opinions?

    Saw it the other day. Was hoping for better. A little too typical Spielberg sentimentalism for me. I mean, it's a story about a horse and a boy, so, yeah, that's what it's about. Obviously some great filming throughout so the views aren't an issue, but overall a little hokey for me from top to bottom. Oh yeah - with the previews included - it was looong.

    it's ok. there's no real climax and it's pretty predictable but it's really not bad. solid action throughout, and it's kind of long (2 1/2 hours I think)
