    How do you get into this sport in the US? Are there high schools up north that have curling teams? Does anyone know anyone that curls?

    Not sure about HS but there is a professional curling league in the US. I saw it on HBO sports Bryant (sp) Gumbel last night. The guys that curl for the US made 18,000 dollars as a team last year. Not a lot of money in it, but if you learn how to make the ice they curl on you can be a national hero in Canada...Tru story

    There's several big curling clubs across Minnesota. St. Paul and Bemidji are both big (I work with a guy to goes to the St. Paul one sometimes).

    I think the US Olympic team is from the Duluth club.

    I'm watching curling and wondering if the USA skip could choke any harder, way to choke 3 straight games with fails on game winning shots

    i was sitting with my g/f on the couch watching this. She's like where do they have curling in the US? I'm like there prob all from Minnesota. Like five minutes later they're like "Minnesota Foursome"

    The bad news is these guys choked. The good news is like all Minnesota athletes they will soon move to Boston and come back when Olympic Gold in 4 years while obnoxious untolerable homers cheer them on

    pretty sure a lot of major cities have curling clubs (indy has one). i've curled once, it was pretty fun, def something that i'd do more if there were easier access.

    Columbus has a few different rinks that run leagues, and I hope that someone from around here makes the olympics next time so that they can do a better job than this fuckwad skip from Minn has done so far. There are probably more people into it than you realize.

    dunno about the USA but in my area (southern ontario) several of our private golf courses have curling rinks and double as curling clubs in the winter - keeps the money flowing all year eh.

    I grew up in Northern Ont. and you couldn't swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting a curling club.
