Crazy storms there last night. But what will be weird to watch is the course with no fans on it. Normally you can hear the roars, see the people fired up, with the excitment going on, but today its empty. And noone to save Tigers errant tee shots with their face. Gonna be an interesting watch.

Yeah my buddy was going. He posted a nice golf ball sized hail pic on fb today.
Irish open course is amazing on golf channel tho.

Is coverage impacted? There are 1.3 milly without power in the area and trees down everywhere. Very few lights have power and traffic is a disaster.

I thought it was funny watching the guys make putts but then react as if there were people there. They would tip the hat and then laugh. It was fun to watch ana a lot of the guys seemed loose.

I'm sure this is a silly question but I dont know tournament golf rules so I'll ask anyway. Was watching that shot by tiger where he hit his club on a tree on the follow through. If this were an earlier round and he broke that club would he be allowed to replace it the next day? Can you change clubs from day to day also or is it just the 14 you start with on day 1?

he could have replaced the club on the next hole if he had a back up in the locker room. as long as you damage it during the normal course of play you can replace it.

in a way he was back a month ago. obviously nobody will give him respect until he wins a major, but considering last year he had pretty much fallen out of the top 50 world rankings and people were making a big deal, coming into this week i think he was 4th lol. not sure what he'll be after today, but imagine 2nd or 3rd, not to mention first in fed ex cup points and money list. pretty impressive for a guy who's not considered 'back'. tigers off years are dream years for 99% of the playersOriginally Posted by tommpat2000
