make or break time to get that final push to the playoffs
couple questions on my team:
Starters-
Tony Romo
Matt Forte
Darren Mcfadden
Dez Bryant
Hakeem Nicks
Julio Jones
Fred Davis
BN-
Owen Daniels
Laurent Robinson
Mario Manningham
Pierre Garcon
Jonathan Baldwin
Doug Baldwin
as you can see im super heavy on WR and desperately need a backup RB since DMC is probably out again.
a dude that is stacked at RB has squat for WR, Jordy Nelson, Lance Moore and Malcom Floyd are starting for him. Question is what can I offer for one of his RB's (sproles, demarco murray, blount, turner) that wont hurt me too bad? This is the best option i have since it would help both of us and the WW is god awful.
*edit*
needs to be known that we start 2 RB and 3 WR with no flex. .5ppr as well -
Id offer him Daniels and Garcon for Moore and Sproles. No need for Daniels with Davis being the Skins biggest passing threat with Moss out and Johnson returning after the bye week.
-
Non PPR league.
I was offered Blount for Mendenhall, straight up. Should I take this offer?
Current team:
Brees
Green
Lloyd
McGahee
Murray
F. Davis
M. Bush
Seabass
Baltimore
Bench:
Mendenhall
Austin
V. Davis
Decker
Best -
Id take it
-
hes already made it a point he is going to be irrational about the situation claiming he wants my best WR and Dware my best IDP for his bench RB so i countered with doug baldwin and tamba hali, which would still help him immensely as both would be starters, but he says he needs to crunch the numbers.
IDP's are so deep in this league since we only start two but I dont think he realizes this. So if this goes through I would gain Murray for this week, snap pick up James Harrison off waivers and only lose Doug Baldwin. Then the plan is to hold onto Murray and judge what Garrett is going to do about the RB situation in dallas with Felix coming back next week. After that either trade Mcfadden for a WR1 or Murray for a WR2 and hopefully profit.
this is all extremely hypothetical however. -
Better rest of season: Maclin or Dez Bryant
-
Start 1 QB 2 WR 2 RB 1 WR/RB. Passing TD's 4 pts, all other 6 pts
QB- Brady, Flacco
WR- Bryant, Nicks, A Brown, Washington
RB- Peterson, Mathews, Benson, M Bush
TE- Gates
10 team league,5-4 (4th seed) need to make a push, top teams coming up on schedule. Gonna trade Brady, Mathews, A Brown for Forte, Schaub. Opinions? -
and i wouldnt take that trade, at least not until we see what matthews does this week.

thats the prob. if I wait and see Mathews isnt safe I cant upgrade to Forte. if he looks good it might dupe me into keeping him when its apparent he has injury issues. My biggest concern is losing Brown. He looks real legit

i have the decision of tebow @KC or Brady @NYJ. NE vrs NYJ week five showed the patriots showing off their running game in what was an easy win. does the running trend continue? do they trust these receivers to play well enough for brady against that NYJ secondary? its tuff to say that brady is an 18+ point qb in this game
at this time i have tebow in there and without some decent convincing help from someone he will be staying.
now i will say that i do not like the KC matchup, their secondary is decent, run defense is decent, really is a bad matchup for this bronco team but brady's matchup feels worse to me -
As a general rule I would say never to bench Brady no matter the match up. I do see your dilemma tho as the Jets D seems to be hitting their stride. I also see Brady comin out for blood after two straight losses. Not terrible that you are thinking about it imo, but I still say go with Brady.
I'm in a similar situation having the Jets D and considering keeping them on after the Giants D scored 10+ sunday in New England. And scared to go shopping again after Oakland D burned me sunday. Would have still lost by like 1 pt but would have been a decent sweat at least if I had played Jets d. fml.
Also, is Roy Helu really worth going after? Think I may be able to snag him thru waivers and my rb situation is kind of weak. Right now I have foster, r. bush, d. thomas, and d. williams. And with foster and brees having a bye week in week 11 I really need a solid option. Pretty sure I'm gonna grab him, just interested to know how much you all think he can be trusted w/ choice, torain, and shanahan factor. Obv dont expect another 14 rec game....

As a Miles Austin owner is L. Robinson my top waiver target? Guys like Crabtree and Walters are available as well. -
i am specifically targetting robinson over any available WR in every league i can regardless of having miles austin so gl getting him

Also a Miles Austin owner with Laurent Robinson available in my league...here's my current receiving corps, who would you drop for Robinson (or would you stand pat)? Note: my league is non-PPR, has only 2 WR slots and 1 TE
M. Austin
B. Marshall
T. Smith
N. Washington
----
T. Gonzalez
J. Ballard -
Snagged him and Helu and my waiver # was 8 out of 10. LOL my league sucks.
-
Start 3 receivers and 2 rbs ppr:
Maclin, bowe, white, Steve smith (car)
Murray, Mjd, forte -
DeMarco Murray v. Bills
or
Ryan Mathews @ Raiders
I'm kind of leaning toward Murray due to Mathews' injury problems. Mathews did practice yesterday though. -
I would go Murray against the Bills. I think Jones is back this week but Murray has been a beast with the ball and the Bills Rush defense isn't that great.
For me I have to Start either Tolbert or Bennie Wells. After the terrible week by Wells last week I am leaning toward Tolbert but Matthews taking carries away scares me. -
Yeah I think Murray has a stranglehold on the starting job for now. I don't think Jones will be that much of a factor, at least this week. (I hope). Prob just going to start him since he's done really well 2/3 weeks since he took the starting job & I'm afraid of Mathews going down with another injury. + I should win this week regardless I think as the other guy's team is weak, so I think I'll just go with the safer pick.
I'd probably start Tolbert. He's good for a TD about half the time at least. Beanie seems to really be constrained by that knee injury given his crap performance last week when he was supposed to dominate against a crappy rushing D. -

I'd go Tolbert

Definitely Murray
I'd probably stand pat, but if I dropped someone it'd be Washington then BallardOriginally Posted by Lord Supremo

Doooo it. Your WRs should be healthy by the time the playoff starts, so upgrade RB now. Bush has been pretty solid the last month or so.
Maclin but it's close. Honestly depends on who else you have at WR. -
Pick 2....ppr
MJD vs colts
Turner vs Saints
Murray vs bills -
MJD
Turner
All good matchups for you against those defenses. So really you could pick two and pray lol. But even though most of us think Murray has the starting job in Dal we know turner and MJD has it. -
True..

Just worried that atl will fall behind early and toss running game out the window..
MJD shouldnt have been in the question cause he is def vs colts for 80-120 yds..it really came down to murray and turner -
Not sure how I can turn down this trade. Thoughts?
I give: M. Bush.
I get: AJ Green and J. Stewart.
Obviously I get the better end, however, I already have Calvin Johnson, Nicks, Manningham, and Laurent Robinson at WR. And Bush could be a very valuable commodity if McFadden stays out for most of the season (pretty likely, imo).
