Smallish trade offer but i still havent made up my mind. I was offered
Peyton Hillis and Sidney Rice
for
Mike Williams
Im getting Hillis and Rice. -
Which side gets the better of this trade?
Ray Rice
FOR
Matt Forte
Darren McFadden
Eric Decker -
Rice is good, but not as good as those 3 combined LOL
-
I think Id go washington and Hawkins. Lions have terrible coverage and the skins have already been in two shootouts

Ugly, I know. I whiffed on a ton of long shot draft guys and have to start 2rb, 3wr and a flex in 12 team league. Have Charles, DMC, Lloyd, and Antonio Brown playing otherwise. -
it depends on who you need. obviously rice is better than every one of those guys, but if you don't have a deep team you should probably do this trade. 90% of the time this is an amazing deal, unless your team is insane.

Stafford @ TEN or RG3 vs CIN? 6 pt QB TDs
Not sure what to do here, my squad is 0-2 bc of playing Stafford over RG3 but he was my first round pick so I dont want to bench him. My original plan was that if RG3 blew up like I thought he might be able to over the first few weeks, to try to trade him for a top level RB (since in our league QBs have more value than RBs in my opinion) since my RB situation is not good at all.
U guys think that I should try to sell high on RG3 or should i roll with him and try to deal Stafford? Seems like RG3 is way too strong of a fantasy QB option to only have him as a backup for Stafford's bye week. -
I would try to trade RG3 if I was you. Look at what happened to Cam Newton in the last 8 games of the season last year. Teams made adjustments, and he didn't even come close to throwing for 300 in any game, not even 250.
I'm not saying RG3 is Cam Newton. Honestly, I think RG3 is going to be better than Cam in the long run in the NFL, but for one season, he'll eventually hit a wall. He's always going to put up something because of his legs, but he's less of a runner than Cam or Vick.
Up until last week Stafford had something like 5 or 6 straight games with over 350 yards passing (could be more, can't remember/don't feel like looking). The yards and TDs are going to be there by the end of the season. Only thing you have to worry about is Stafford getting hurt, but with these pussy rules, he's less likely to every year.
Roll with Stafford the rest of the way. -
Two seperate leagues, both .5 ppr.
Pick 1- Charles vs NO or Andre Brown vs Car
Pick 2- Decker vs Hou, T. Smith vs NE, D. Jackson vs Ari, B. Lafel vs NYG -
My team is pretty sick (10-team league):
QB: Vick
RB: Foster
RB: Rice
FLEX: Morris/Tate/Washington/LeShore/Moore
WR: Julio Jones
WR: Antonio Brown
TE: Jimmy Graham
(The reason I have Foster and Rice is bc I stole Arian last season when he was injured).
So I'm really torn on the trade (Rice for Forte, McFadden, and Decker). On one hand, I'm pretty happy with my lineup. On the other hand, I know I'm getting the better end of the deal on paper, and also improving my depth.
If I took the deal, I also have another deal I could make to acquire Stafford for Forte. So, this trade could yield me Stafford, McFadden, and Decker for Ray Rice.
I'm also considering trading Foster instead of Rice because I have Tate and could then potentially have two RB1s if Foster goes down (or, if the Texans rest Foster late in the season).
It's just tough for me to give up my stranglehold on the two best RBs in fantasy.
Somebody help talk me through this. -
For my flex spot in a 12 team league. Pick one:
Jamaal Charles
Alfred Morris
Pierre Garcon
Im thinking about letting charles hit the bench this week and starting Morris. Thoughts? -
Benching Charles would be a big mistake imo. He only sat because he banged his knee and there was no reason to push the issue when they were getting killed in the 2nd half. I think he rebounds beautifully this week.
-
RB2 spot Shonn Greene or DeAngelo Williams...either way I'm screw at this spot and need Eli and Cruz to light it up
-
I'd still have to start charles. Morris, Stewart, and D'angelo all had good efforts against the Saints. He has that bruised knee though, so I'm keeping an eye on him in my leagues.

I own morris in two leagues, had to play him last week in both because of lack of options...I'm scared if I start him again, Royster or Helu will be the featured back...starting Ryan Torrain burnt before, so I'm a little skiddish.
I need 3 rbs, non-ppr...Arian is starting, pick 2 from these
Adrian Peterson v. San Fran
Andre Brown @ Carolina
Alfred Morris v. Cincy
Ryan Matthews v. Atlanta
Ben Tate @ Denver -
Never sit Peterson. Regardless of niners d. And Brown should get plenty of touches. Another week or two and I say Mathews.
-
I'd go with Green. He's perfectly capable of putting up good numbers every week as long as the Jets don't get in a big hole early like they did last week. Wouldn't be thrilled about him as an RB2 but I think he's underrated overall.
-
Can I set Larry Fitzgerald this week? He's playing philly, who's pass D is as stout as they get.

My other options (we start 4 WR/TE flex's):
martellus bennett
antonio brown
Brandon lloyd
danny amendola.
I'm not trying to overreact, and sit him all year. I'm just saying kevin kolb is starting, philly is filthy, and all these guys have better matchups (and are off to a better start). -
Edited By: Chrono Sep 20th, 2012 at 08:00 PMAre Forte and McFadden going to outscore Rice and (flex)? That's the only question you have to ask yourself. Only concern i have is injury. Decker is not much of a factor imo. He's not starting at this time, but might supplant Brown down the road.Originally Posted by Purple Jesus

When Foster is healthy, and he is, he's better than Rice. I wouldn't over-think it. Trade Rice and keep Foster. -
Martin, flip a coin. Neek, I'm never sitting Fitz.. period. Grindin, Brown. I think he touches the ball at least 25 times.
-
I'd be starting Brown this week and seeing if LaFell keeps getting hot with Cam. If LaFell stays hot for a 3rd week I might consider starting him over CJ2K in a PPR league when Bradshaw returns and drops Brown's value back down.
-
No PPR.
Celek @ Ari
or
Witten vs. Tampa
or?!?!?!?!
Winslow @ Bal (more of a short term maybe trade value pickup since I don't see playing him first week) -
100% trading RG3... His schedule is rather brutal at the end and he's already whining about getting hit.
