  2. With Rivers on a bye (and just sucking in general), should I start Ponder (vs ARI) or add/start Weeden (@IND)?

I'll keep Ponder either way and play matchups with he and Rivers, but am a bit worried about Ponder for a couple of reasons...one being Arizona's D is decent. I've read a lot about Weeden and he seems to be highly recommended.

    Thoughts?
  3. Im in the same spot in one league and picked up Weeden over Ponder for this week. I like his matchup a lot better.

Try and pick up Fitzpatrick or Palmer. Of neither are available then roll w weeden. He has more of a big game potential but with a lot of risk and turnovers.

Sproles and it's not even close.

  6. lol Chrono, every single one of your picks seems wrong to me in these threads (I have almost commented on it like 10 times). Not saying I'm an expert, just saying we consistently disagree in an impressively predictable way.

I'm probably just overanalyzing though, given that CJ obviously sucks.

Ridley hasn't really been that inconsistent seeing double-digit touches every game. Bolden is out as well, giving in more incentive to start Ridley as they are probably going to test his workload. The only 2 games he didn't shine was against Seattle (who woulda thought) and Ravens, where NE played a ton of no huddle (at a point where Woodhead was the only one in that rotation).

Not sure why so many people are down on Ridley when he is up on a number of charts nearing the halfway point of the regular season.
  8. Receive Chris Johnson, Ten RB from Cmdr to Bench
Receive Kyle Rudolph, Min TE from Cmdr to Bench
Receive Peyton Manning, Den QB from Cmdr to Bench
Send Andy Dalton, Cin QB from QB to Cmdr
Send Rob Gronkowski, NE TE from TE to Cmdr
Send Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR from Bench to Cmdr

Standard scoring league, anyone like this trade?

    Leaves me with:

Peyton (bye next week) and very favorable schedule remaining

    RB-

Ridley, Bradshaw, CJ (who also has a favorable sched), Daryll Richardson, A. Brown

    WR-

Calvin Johnson, Roddy White, AJ Green (I plan to start all 3 and rotate my RB2), Kendall Wright.

    TE-

Rudolph / (Waiver for Minn bye)

or should I ride it out with Dalton / Gronk?

I feel so confused projecting Gronk's production this year (as last year's seemed more attainable early round 3 of the draft). I feel like Peyton is a major upgrade from Dalton (and the player involved in this trade also has RGIII so he probably won't immediately regret too much). Thoughts appreciated.
  9. my thought is your WR rape so much its disgusting

as for the trade, I the upgarde to Peyton and with those WR you can give a little at TE, to upgrade your QB. Rudolph is a decent TE as well, and who knows how long Garcon will be out. I take the trade based on the QB improvement alone.

    Sick team with Peyton

  10. Haha just got away with a huge trade too.

Shonne Greene, Marshawn Lynch, and Lance Moore for Megatron and Ahmad Bradshaw
  11. A Brown @ CIN
    T Smith @ HOU

    ppr
  12. Brown
  13. i have the rams D as my current D/ST but they're going up against the packers but at home this week....was gonna bench them in favor of the raiders playing at home against Jacksonville but now starting to have second thoughts. who should I play?

  14. Cam vs DAL
    Luck vs CLE

Honestly can't even believe this has become a question this year, fucking cam.
  15. 1 pt PPR League:

    L Moore @ TB
    K Britt @ Buf
    B Lloyd v NYJ

Leaning towards Moore with Graham out, but Britt could have big upside this week
  16. Personally I like Luck at home

I like Brown. they basically don't have a running game this week, so I expect him to see about 12 targets.
  18. Kendall Wright @ BUF
    Brandon Lloyd vs. Jets
    Brandon Gibson vs. GB

    Pick 2, non-PPR.

I think I like Lloyd the most then wright slightly above Gibson. I feel like wright has a better shot at scoring against buf.
  21. Law Firm vs Justin Blackmon.................

Hear me out. Oakland's devastated secondary, jags have a good shot at being behind in a shootout, and Law FIrm is playing the steel curtain.

SOmeone talk me out of starting a roookie WR that has severely underproduced over a starting RB on a decent offense.

    THanks

  22. Made the commish mad in my $100 league:

(he made the retarded waiver system happen a day faster so it would help with Thursday games and somebody complained about midseason changes and other players having an advantage)

Me: Adding a day to waivers doesn't do anything to effect those in lower or higher positions, it just makes the process faster. There isn't any advantages gained by anybody

That said, hopefully the waivers will be done differently next season because the way it is set up this year is awful. As is the regular season being meaningless. 8 teams make playoffs, no payouts, no first round byes. Not sure what the purpose of all these games are. Congrats to the regular season winner, you can have a handshake for your efforts

HIM: While I appreciate the "ok" vote from you...and yes I got your email earlier in the season and told you that going with 6 teams and some bye weeks was a good idea. Yes I screwed that one up..Too much of trying to appease the masses......no biggie I'll fix it next season. I also do appreciate you filling in last minute....

with that said...Who the fuck are you to talk shit about my league that I've worked on for the last 4 years. Mike get's a pass for talking trash and only won dick of the week..as I've known him forever.......and his reign ends on Monday....unlike your new title...Dick of the Season...I cant' believe you think it's just ok to talk shit like that....man...grow up dude and learn some manners...I can only hope you don't win one penny of this league's money.....cause I don't want to see your face again...if you do win the trophy..come on by...I'm sure it will look nice shoved up your ass....your a douchbag...have a nice life....and if you talk anymore shit...I'll just shut your team down and fine you oh I don't know....$100 for being an asshole....so just read this email...and understand your place...and carry on....

The rest of you we are cool....keep on having fun...go Broncos...."
  23. I'm still on the fence about Stewart vs Blount for my flex.

Saints have given up the most points to RB's this year, Blount had 18 snaps last week and manages to find the endzone. It's ppr and I like Stewart for that but.....fuck
  24. My streak of failure continues! I benched CJ2K for Shonn Greene today, of course this was going to happen.
  25. I'm just going to assume I'm terrible at 8 team leagues because I'm straight up aids at making decisions, and deep teams kill me.

    flip a coin
  27. Give Martin the ball not Blount.

  28. Didnt want to start a new thread for week 8 or post in the mon night ffb thread.

    Trade offer presented to me.

    I give:

    Frank Gore
    Kyle Rudolph

    I get:

    Jamall Charles

Rudolph is my backup TE, so really no use to me if Graham comes back next week.
  29. Modification to the trade. I give Gore and Hankerson for Charles. I just dont see how I can pass on it. Does anyone think Gore has a better rest of season than Charles?
  30. I would snap do this
