    No it would have happened anyway. What Weiner did was different from every other political sex scandal. For one thing he didn't even have sex. Everything he did showed he had no impulse control.

    My theory is he's a smart guy who got made fun of a lot as a kid because of his name and that anger festered and he carried it with him throughout life. A lot of the things he did were very childish imo. He always showed little restraint in interviews and on the house floor. Just an angry kid trying to show the world he's a big strong man. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if he "got help" and in four or five years after this thing cools off he becomes Mayor of NYC.

    The stupidity of the American public will never cease to amaze me so if he is elected mayor it wouldn't be a surprise. Heck they had Marion Barry on video hittin the glass dick and he still got voted in as mayor again.

    Wiener may be a smart guy but how dumb can you be to sext someone on your phone and try to deny it. And you know girls are gonna save it and try to cash in with TMZ.. This " scandal" is much ado about nothing important but media is so tabloid driven they are gonna run with it 24/7..
