    although i agree your story was funny, and maybe the guy was a piece of shit as you say, but you could have shown a little more respect given the it was the guys funeral. Suicide isnt a funny thing. And it adds to the negative feelings felt by people at a funeral. So although im sure you got your kicks as apparently all the people in ot did too, i think maybe your need to bring comedy to the siuation could have been fulfilled at a more apropriate time.

    Finally opened this thread, I laughed.
    Brought back memories of my good friend who hanged himself this year. Was a good funeral too, crying and laughing just remember them.

    I didn't find the story so much to be disrespectful to the deceased, more of something that got a little out of control due to unexpected rum, xanex, and weed, which made the story funny to me. The dude is dead, it's not like he is looking over at them all mad saying "IS BLONDE PISSING OUTSIDE???".

    Sorry about your dad though, I can't imagine how rough that would have been. Different people handle situations differently though.

    The captain biskit guy is dredging up some painful shit from his past and taking it out on you, maybe someone cracked 1-liners at his dad's funeral, who knows, but seriously uncalled for.

    Sure, pretty dickish/uncalled for in typical settings, but ffs if the nephew - who is pretty much the most important person there - enjoyed it thats all that should matter
