So if you told most people that you had 10000 posts on an online forum, you’d feel like a loser. Maybe there is something stupid about it, but P5s has definitely been an interesting part of my life for the last five years. I came on the site as a dumb, naïve sixteen year old who wanted to go to Harvard, hated living under his parents’ strict regime, and wanted to learn how to beat 45 man SNGs Now I’m a dumb, naïve twenty-one year old who’s about to graduate from Duke in three months, have a good relationship with my parents, and hate SNGs more than any form of poker. Tons has changed since then and obviously growing up has had a lot to do with that, but OT has definitely helped me out in various ways.

Whether it was posting advice or making friends on here that I’ve either met irl or have helped me out in immeasurable ways, the site has been awesome to me. If it weren’t for BAntares, BillMueller, and others, I never would’ve gotten some of the info that helped me with a workout program. Lifting and nutrition has become such a big part of my life now that it’s hard to imagine I once was a 5’11, 140 lb kid with a curry gut. Eventually, I was able to pay it forward by helping heavyj80 lose weight.

Additionally, if it weren’t for p5s, I would never have gotten okay enough at poker that I could use it to help support myself as I move into founding a startup next summer. Skipping the i-banking or consulting option would have been much, much harder. There are definitely lots of things I’m grateful for because of the site, from big things like life advice to the smallest things like gifs or 1.21 gigawatt’s posts. I could go on and on, but yea, I’ll just leave it at saying I look forward to continuing to post on here in the future.

BGX-Probably the person I got to know the best first on the site: He’s a great dude and if I’m half the man he is in ten years, I know that I’ll be living a pretty good life and living it the right way.

JRoth15, Marinersheep, Bob Futon, TheWacoKidd, Blackout4: I talk to these guys so often about sports that it’s insane. They’re all super fun to shoot the shit with but I also enjoy talking about life with all these guys. Super chill dudes for sure who are also hella smart. I could write much longer things about each of them individually but this well is getting way too long already and they all fit in the “sports” category at least a little bit.

BAntares, BigEarn7, BillMueller, heavyj80: These guys helped me a ton with my workout stuff when I was first getting into it two years ago. BAntares gave me a full workout regimen and eating plan that was unbelievably helpful. I can’t thank him enough; the other guys have helped a lot too. It’s also been fun to work with heavyj on his weight loss plan as well as BigEarn on his various nutritional needs.

Lord Supremo, dpottz: They both rape a lot and are gonna be ridiculous lawyers. Really enjoy talking to them about everything; great perspectives and are absurdly smart. Supremo’s my brotha from a different motha and I wish I could be as smart as dpottz.

Goldenad, MastaP89, Gags30, 99NvrLosez, Funnygut, Shanetrain22, BBoy3110, CleeShay, BPV3, Deoxyribo, Doubledave22, and Oni: All of these guys have helped me with my poker game tremendously in the past year. I couldn’t beat $5 mtts a year ago. Talking to Goldenad and CleeShay got me down the right path initially and all of them have helped me a ton. I’m so incredibly thankful for everything you guys have done to help me out. I wouldn’t even be a tenth of the poker player I am now if it weren’t for you guys, but more importantly, I’ve really enjoyed the process of becoming friends with you guys. It’s been a great experience and one of the best things that’s happened to me in the past year. You guys are percs.

I don’t wanna start giving shoutouts to people whose posts I just enjoy but yea, there are countless. There's other people on here that are cool as fuck and nice too that I talk to occasionally as well. The list just gets too long. Everyone I’ve met irl, you guys are all cool---had so much fun in Vegas with Zander, TUGreenWave, Unforseen kidrockin, etc. Darkpoker12, Kobe sucks.

Anyway, finally, over the years people have sorta PMed me questions or asked me questions in threads about my life and stuff…I feel like OT doesn’t have enough Wells. PD has a ton and they’re always great reads. It’d be cool to do that more in OT too I think. Hopefully there's some interest in this idea, but we'll ust see how it goes.

loooool. she moved away to washington like three weeks after that picture for her dad's work. one of the dudes in the pic hooked up with her and I think one of them dated her. they all went to a different high school from me; I just knew one of them from middle school. she's pretty cool though and even cuter now
