So I am currently living in Japan (semi-brag), and just booked a trip to Beijing for an upcoming vacation. Anyone here have any recommendatiions for things to see other than the obvious (i.e. great wall, forbidden city)? Any cool sites or things off the beaten path? Any help would be great.
And some pics for your time:

Need more details on what kinda things you like to do fo fun really. Lots of clubs, restaurants, malls etc outside of the obvious tourist spots. I basically did all the tourist things last time i was there (great wall, forbidden city, tien. square etc.)
If you get a chance should take the train to shanghai and check out the world expo. Im going there aroun the end of summer.
