    OMG bfactor was so fucking on with that post. I run a tight ship with my time schedules and if someone says they'll be 10 minutes and they're really 30 minutes, well either I'll be super pissed when they get there or I won't be there at all...their loss.

    LOL bfactor.. thats the biggest thing i hate! its when my girlfriend will tell me she wont be long but she knows full well she will be longer.. it PROPER tilts me. i wish shed just tell me 2 hours and then an hour later tell me shes done early. the reason i hate it so much is because i have a small obsession with always being ontime/early and i will never be late for anything. if i say ill be there at 3pm ill be there at 2.50 waiting just incase i hit traffic or sumthing. so when my girlfriend will say "set off pick me in up in 1 hour", ill get ready and be ready to leave in 30 minutes to make sure i aint late. so when im ready after 30 minutes and then she says actually im still not ready it really annoys me.

    also i hate it when she says theres nothing wrong but thier blatently is and wont tell me till i grind it out of her 30 minutes later... i do it some times but as much.

    anyway, back to the topic at hand.. i litterally never lie to my girlfriend about anything.. i actually cant remember the last white lie i told to her. thinking about it it might have been "i only had 3 beers" but really i had 6 lol. i tell her everything and never hold anything back. i never do anytihng wrong and have nothing to hide so i never have to lie or cover anytihng up. my life is so good and un-complicated lol.

    OMG, beki, this is me!! I say nothing to avoid confrontation and then when ten things have piled up and I'm a resentful ball of nerves, I snap. So unhealthy. I'm making an effort to either truly let things that bother me go (pick your battles, right? nobody likes constant nitpicking), and if it's something I can't let go, say something. I'm a work in progress when it comes to this, for sure! :)

    I think this situation occurs because most men can't handle criticism and get defensive or try to make us feel like we're overreacting or being silly for being upset. Like you said, if you just patiently talk to us and make us feel safe telling you what's on our mind, then it doesn't blow up like it does when you ignore us and hope it'll go away.

    I think my problem is that I'm actually too honest. I would only lie to avoid hurting someone's feelings. And even then, it's a fine line. Sigh.

    i go back and forth....right now i'm on threaded....yesterday i was flat....if you see me quote, than it's a pretty good indicator i'm using flat.....and ecu, i know zactly what you mean.
