What movie do i watch tonight?

    Network was very good. but a little on the dry side. (same can be said for All the president's men and one flew over the cuckoo's nest). never saw oldboy (but it is next on my netflix queue). taxi driver is just plain awesome. dog day afternoon is a good entertaining flick but maybe lacks substance (imo). if you are looking for a movie that will make you think, i'd go for network. if you are looking to be merely entertained i'd go for either taxi driver or dog day afternoon (again, haven't seen oldboy).

    so you should watch Taxi Driver (the best all around movie imo)

    EDIT: i'm assuming by your other choices that you mean the taxi driver with Robert de niro and jodie foster, and not that piece of garbage that had Queen laqueefa and that idiot from SNL.

    THink I am going to go for Taxi Driver...

    One Flew the Cuckoo's Nest is my all time favorite movie so watch your mouth about the dry side.

    See Oldboy immediately, if you like film, you wont be dissapointed

    lol i'm sorry for dissing one flew over the cuckoo's nest. i wasnt aware you had seen it before, nor do i know your taste in movies. though based on what i gather from your taste in movies, i would suggest you go see 2001: a space odyssey immediately. I watched it a few days ago and it was amazing.

    and not to hijack (too bad), but speaking of movies I saw alphadog recently on demand and despite having Justin Timberlake (who really didn't do an awful job, but was probably not the right person to cast for that role) I thought it was one of the better movies I have seen in a while.
