  1. Just figured I would make the repost that always brings the homers out in droves. The question is simple: which NFL qb's absence affects their team the most, their division the most, their conference the most. This is, of course purely hypothetical.

Last year Ryan, Rodgers and Brees led in win probability added ( a component of ESPN's new QBrating) and Manning is far and away the leader in WPA/g over a career.

  9. John Daly.
  10. Drew Bledsoe...

    but Peyton Manning...

  11. Affect tho.
  12. Sam Bradford is a close 2nd to Manning as well. Took a team from 1-15 to 7-9 in one year and should improve on that mark again. He has done it while not improving many parts of the team as well including his WR corp.

no really, this is a dumb thread since there cant even be a discussion.

next time make a thread that says "manning means the most to his team more than any other PLAYER in the nfl, good day"

This is a joke right? Even if he is 2nd(which he is not), it isn't a close 2nd at all.

How is this a joke he was a +6 wins last year which is CRAZY. While I agree Manning is way above anyone else I think Sam is nothing to sneeze at. Also he is only in his second year and his value can only rise. Dont h8

HE PLAYS IN THE NFC WEST...Take you god damn homer goggles off and realize this. Ive seen like 3 posts from you and they are all ridiculously homer based. You are the Rams Bdubs, but your not joking around. Pretty incredible that you actually believe the shit you write.

Really unfortunate for the NFL brand. Always enjoy a good Colts shootout with whoever.

Manning plays in a pretty shitty division as well. Aside from the texans this year there isn't much to say. The Titans and Jags both have good RB's and that is about it. I admit I am a pretty big homer but I think Bradford is that valuable to the rams. If we had Jay Feely (backup) start all year we would win like 1-3 games. Just saying

The difference is that I could pick 15 QBs that could have improved the Rams that much, if not more, from one year to the next. There isn't another QB in the league that could take Manning's place and get even close to the same results. We aren't trying to downplay how good Bradford is or anything like that, he just isn't really a great answer for this question.

Behind Peyton I would go something like:
    Brady
    Brees
    Rivers
    and probably Rodgers
