    This...was at my g/f's work xmas party, and her boss' wife ordered a filet mignon--and i quote--"very well done...oh, and can you bring some ketchup out for me to dip it in??"

    This is at a super nice country club...I'm sitting across the table trying not to laugh. WTF does that??

    I just learned a new way to cook FM. Pan sear both sides 2 minutes, then throw in an oven at 375, for 8 miutes!!!!!!!!!!! Came out super juicey and the best bacon wrapped filet i ever had. If i ask them to cook it this way at a reasturaunt will they laugh at me?

  17. yea, i had an older white couple come in and the lady ordered a filet "extra well done." It just made me think how rare that is (no pun intended)

    Normally it's just black ppl wanting to pay $25+ for beef jerky

    And fwiw, when ya'll go out, cooking her steak adds like 10 min to the time you're waiting to eat..

  26. hmmm..ya this seems pretty weird, but i worked at On the Border for 3 years and don't remember there being an oven there either.. can anyone who waits tables confirm this? I know we have a couple warmers and a smoker.
