    Basically its an extremely advanced fantasy sports simulator that allows you to play with players from any era. I just started in a 24 team baseball simulator league with my friends that have played for a while but I'm already obsessed. It takes each individual players real-life statistics for each given year and uses them in a super complex engine taking into account everything from ballparks to lefty vs righty to fucking everything possible.

    Managing your team is extremely complex too with a million options like baserunning aggressiveness you can change for your individual players and can change each series depending on the specific arm strength of your opponents catcher. You have to set your rotation including individual pitcher pitch counts (based on your pitchers specific season statistics and whatnot) its fucking crazy how much detail there is.

    Theres also something awesome about how just in our 1989 draft someone drafted Kevin Brown #1 overall, Griffey went #3, and I got Dante Bichette at #17. I'm completely obsessed with it and I'm only in my first season lol.

    I know Bill Simmons talks about it and plays.

    1 of my best friends has been obsessed with whatifsports for a few years now. Thats all I know.

    If there is enough interest we should start an OT progressive baseball simulator league :)

    i believe krs33 plays this pretty much exclusively,wouldnt even join fantasy leagues. smart baseball dude

    Bill James has a great historic baseball fantasy simulator game too.

    when asked what he would hit against todays pitching ty cobb admitted it would only be around .270.

    when asked why so low, he said "because im 73 years old dumb ass!
