  6. evil dead is tight, probalby falls into your comedy category though, but its creepy at parts

drag me to hell is ok, its by the same guy, i'd describe it the same way

    shining obv

i cant think of any scary movies that arent comedies except for the shining, and i've seen most of them
  7. i really enjoyed drag me to hell.

its not sawish tho...all gory n shit, but its well thought out. It was at an imax theatre tho so might have sold me harder on it.

  21. These can be either scary or funny depending on how you take them:

    Old School:

    Suspiria
    Phantasm

    Newer:

    Audition
    Event Horizon
Janghwa, Hongryeon (The Tale of Two Sisters)
The Ring (It scared me lol)
  22. The Descent... VERY good
  23. [REC.] is definately pretty good

Drag me to Hell isn't really that scary...but it has some good jump scenes and is a lot of fun to watch

    Jacob's Ladder

28 days and weeks later are also pretty good....

Jacobs ladder is prob my favorite horror movie tho...was so fucking scared to be alone in house for like week after seeing if for first time

  24. I've hear of REC never actually watched it though. Have to check it out now.
  25. the ring if you haven't seen it yet.
  26. i may be alone here but... Exorcism of Emily Rose.. not exactly the scariest horror movie, but a pretty good "horror" movie overall.
  27. I am pretty sure the exorcist is one of the scariest movies of all time.
    I watched it once.

I thought the ring was pretty disturbing also.
  28. Some good horror movies:

    - Halloween (the original one, not the sequels)

    - Alien (the original one, not the sequels)

    - The Descent

    - Audition

    - 28 Days Later (not to be confused with 28 Weeks Later, which was crappy)

    - The Shining
  29. "trick r treat" is an amazingly well written horror flick which was hugely underestimated at first but has since gotten nothing but good reviews. i also really liked "the uninvited". def a creepy flick with a pretty unexpected ending. check either of these out if you haven't already.
