I'm assuming "under the radar" are ones that the largest majority of, for example, P5ers have NOT heard of. If I'm mistaken about these being "under the radar" I apologize ahead of time.
Death and the Maiden (1994) Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley.
The House of the Spirits (1993) Meryl Streep, Jeremy Irons, Winona Ryder, Glenn Close, Antonio Banderas.
Revenge (1990) Kevin Costnar, Anthony Quinn, Madeleine Stowe.
Of course, these are under the radar, so don't expect to be blown away really, but they are good movies with good acting. I don't even like Costnar, but he did well in this movie. -
are you fucking kidding me? that movie was pushed big time all over before it came out... that stupid dumb cunt ex-stripper wrote it and everyone fawned all over the movie because of it... def not under the radar as it is recent and was very popular... think it even won some awards - jus sayin
-
haha, no worries. I dont really care how under the radar it is, I was just saying it more like "I see a lot of movies, so please dont tell me "GO SEE THE DARK KNIGHT!!!11" because I probably already have" lol

Jazz saxophonist J. Plunky Branch breaks through barriers and brings light to the Afro-Cuban music scene in his groundbreaking documentary. Branch traveled to Havana, Guantanamo and Santiago de Cuba and recorded collaborations between local musicians and noted American jazz musicians Craig Harris, Hamiet Bluiett and David Murray. In doing so, he discovered music's powerful influence despite political and social barriers.

Lucky Number Slevin kicked ass. Life as a House is really good. Also, if you have never seen Kindergarten Cop do yourself a favor.

Everytime I hear that movie's name, I think of this comedy sketch:
<object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/xJyelcnINH0&hl=en&fs=1&border=1"><para m name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/xJyelcnINH0&hl=en&fs=1&border=1" mce_src="http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/v/xJyelcnINH0&hl=en&fs=1&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></object> -
I also believe you should watch TV shows. You could knock out some Lost, 24, Weeds,
The Tudors, The Wire, Dexter, Californication...
As for movies, most of the ones I would mention have been but here are a few more:
Galaxy Quest, Hurlyburly, The Game, Ong Bok: Thai Warrior, Rapid Fire, Showdown in Little Tokyo, High Fidelity, The Professional: Golgo 13, Open Range.
