Where's best to go for Spring Break for a couple of Scots

    Me and a few mates have been wanting to come to the States for a Spring Break for a few years and are thinking of finally doing it this year. Where would you suggest is the best place to go and will it still be easy for some Scottish lads to root some fit college birds as we will obviously know nobody. (Pretty sure it will be no prob if we're wearing kilts)

    I'm honestly not 100% sure b/c I never got to go on Spring Break, but the places that are always brought up are South Padre Island in Texas, Panama City Beach in Florida, Cancun in Mexico, Miami/South Beach in Florida...I'm sure San Diego and Las Vegas would be solid spots...any of the beach spots in Mexico--Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, etc.

    I would say for the U.S. it would either be South Padre Island or Panama City Beach.

    Yeah, definitely go to Mexico and make sure to wander around at night looking for fun places.

    I don't know anything about spring break but if you want to actually see Mexico the interior is where it is at, that is real Mexico, Cancun is not

    That is not the objective of OP and it appears he wants to visit the states, not Mexico. South Padre and Panama Beach seem to be the places. I think Vegas is one of the better party spots in the world but it is not a spring break destination. Spring Break means girls + alcohol + beach (could potentially be a river or lake). I'd go to Vegas 24/7/365 but this is a party atmosphere that Vegas cannot offer. Besides, most college girls aint even 21!

    I dunno what I'm talking about but if I just wanted to party I think I'd go to Cancun, Mexico.

    Yah I wasn't saying that Cancun was what Mexico really is...just saying it's a little safer for foreigners at this point than mainland.

    Definitely, I have been to a few areas of conflict and always read travel.state.gov. Never ever have I seen a place with as many warnings as Mexico. Of all the places I've been (Kashmir, West Bank, Georgia etc.) I think Tijuana is the most dangerous. Mexico is nuts

    been to panama city beach as a senior in HS, awesome time but worried about being caught with booze. went back as a junior in college and even better time now that i was 21. seriously though PCB will have tons of smokin hot chicks looking to fuck. also check which schools are off on the week you want to go. some weeks have small schools and a lesser number while others have big public schools and a large number are off that week, it makes a difference and is a small detail.

    also been to clearwater beach/tampa for spring break. it was tons of fun but clubs were pretty much 21+.

    Seriously though, you should come to San Diego and hang out in Pacific Beach. Your accents will be all you need.

    Cruises are awesome for Spring Break if you can get on the right ones. Find a 3 day cruise out of Miami and have a few days before/after in Miami.
