  1. I love sipping a neat scotch or even an aged rye. I'm having some folks over and was wondering if anybody had suggestions for a good whiskey to serve.

  4. Crown, Jack, Jimmy B, all go good with a Coke. In my 20's, My drink was SoCo. Southern Comfort and Dr. Pepper.
  5. Ok, a few....

    The Macallan - 18 year is really good, 12 year is good enough.

    Lagavulin is good.

    Highland Park, Dalmore, and Glenfarclas are good as well.

    If you have the coin, Macallan 25 year is excellent.

  11. Whiskey is not Scotch, but Whisky is. With the e it is Bourbon...you just learned something.

    this is the only way to go if you want a great drink
    i rarely drink it however seeing it about 45 a bottle
    so i just go with good ol' jack

  15. Blanton's is indeed delicious...go for Knob Creek if you want a nice bourbon that's a bit cheaper. If you'd rather have scotch, I like Glenmorangie.

  16. Woodford Reserve or Eagle Rare for bourbon.

    Lagavulin 16 or Caol Ila 12 or 18 for scotch.
