Dear P5ers,

I know this may sound strange, but I need your help. I want to see White Castle open new resturants in more then their 5 states they have them in. I happen to live in a location where they ddont have one currently, and being from one of their 5 states originally, I truely miss those tasty little burgers with the tiny little buns, and their steam grilled goodness.

I ask that all of you goto www.whitecastle.com and email them. Tell them what you think, tell them how much you miss them, and want the real thing, not those frozen things. Those frozen burgers dont even come close to comparing to the real thing, and any true whitecastle fan would know that, and even the ppl that never had a real one, please trust us on this. They are the BEST burgers you will ever find.

You can get them at the grocery store or Costco.

We have dozens of White Castles around my neck of the woods, and honestly, nobody ever eats there. It's not very good.

Plus, it's always hard to figure out how many you can actually eat. Everything is so small compared to normal food, so you sit there thinking, "Hmmm, I think 3 of them will fill me up. I dunno, maybe I should go ahead and get 4 just to be safe."

Well my friend, then you need to email them and ask them to close one up and move it to a state that doesnt have any at all.

They might be small, they arent always pop. in all areas, but MANY ppl of this country do love them, and many of them have a craving if you will that cant be satisfied by anything else.

Those are the ppl I speak to tonight, those are the ppl I need to write them, and tell them we need more of them, the frozen burgers just dont cut it.

Well then LOL_WTF i apprecaite your input as well, but there is a vast group of WC fans all over the country, for all you know the local "in and out" burger guy could be a WC fan(just like in the WC movie).

All i know is i just had some reheated freaking pizza, cause i wanted WC, and honestly lotta burger is good, but not the same as WC, and wendys is good, but not the same, there is just nothing that compares to the WC.

Have you any idea the amount of capital required to roll out nationwide? Logisitics dictate they can't just open one in Iowa. You probably have to earmark $50 million for marketing alone and you don't have your first A-frame up yet.

They'd have to go public and sell franchises or distribute thru established locations like Frosties did with El Pollo Loco or Green Burrito did with Carl's Jr.

The point of letter writing was to show how much interest there was in other locations across the country and to make them think about how much profit they can make in the long run by giving the consumers what they want.

Its not a big deal, if the letters dont work, they dont, but worst case scenario is, we tried. We tried to tell a company what we wanted. We tried to tell a company that having "4 within 10 miles" isnt making them as much as they could if they spread out a little more to other locations.

Thats the point I was trying to make, i truely dont why your so bent outta shape over all this. Its just a post board and it was meant to get some "lols" and get some ppl writing if they like it.

TYVM digger, I appreciate your empathy for me and many other ppl that love the WC. The nearest one to me, to be honest is about a 24hr drive away.

That is why when I watched the movie and I had a craving, and the frozen ones didnt suffice, I felt the need summon the masses to write them.

Like I said, even if no good comes from it, it cant hurt, there is no harm in writing big companies and telling them what you, the consumer wants. That is why they have a "Contact Us" link. They want feedback.

Dont write them, hell WRITE THEM, tell them you DONT want one near you.

I dont think you are trying to understand the point of this, it was just for some LOLs from ppl that DO like the food, and if they wanted to try to get one near them(which Im sure most ppl on the western coast/areas near there do want, NOT all, but SOME to MOST) then they would write them and tell them how they feel.

I dont see this as a danger to your world at all. It wont have any affect on you if there is one near your location or not. Hell if they do build one near you, YOU as a consumer/resident HAVE THE RIGHT TO EMAIL THEM TOO!

Instead of getting all bent outta shape, why not talk about why you dont like this thread, whats the real reason? Are you a WC lover deep down inside?

I am from the east coast/its area. I have never once heard about those till my friend just about 20 min ago told me about them out in cali.

Theres just another example of emailing the companies that we want to see in our area.

In-n-Out is family owned and operated. You can't buy one.

That explains why they are only in 3 states. Capital and logistical limitations.

People actually eat White Castle sober? I seriously thougt the only reason to go there was after the bar when nothing else is open.

I eat Whitey Cassels once a week, and love it. I get it at 7am on way home from work. The number 1 with cheese and a big red ROCKS. IF white Castle was good enough for Frank Sinatra , its good enough for me. He use to get them flown into Vegas all the time before shows. White Castle is hard to explain to ppl that havent tried it. Its kind of like eating a fluffy cloud with a burger in it. (if made right) or a stale( ya I cant spell) piece of bread with a burger on it. The prob is they got to get the bun steamed just right for greatness. MY record for most eaten is 30 in 10 minutes. of course the real record is 69 in 8 minutes set by Kobayashi. I made a nice 100 bucks on my eating. and got to take one of my top 5 poops of all times to boot.
