Who is excited for $5+/gallon gas?

    Today is the first day of Hurricane season. It is predicted to be an "above average" normal season. If any major storm threatens or impacts the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding areas, there is a good chance gas and oil prices are going to go through the roof in a very short amount of time..Being a FL resident, I fully understand the danger of these esp in the past couple years, I think this country is in for a real test this summer if the forecasters are right and a major storm interupts the gas supply. Just the scare of one threatening a certain area will cause panic as usual.. So if gas reaches $5/gallon or more, can and will you still be able to afford it and continue to drive as usual? I'm need a hoverboard.

    at the rate the prices r increasing, i don't think we need a hurricane to put it @ $5 a gallon...in NY the prices are going up about .10cents a week

    meh i'm not worried as long as we don't go past $7-8 a gallon this year then it'll be tough obv but we'll push on through.

    Still less than $4 in Louisiana, but any higher then it already is, this guy might not have enough money every month to survive.

    For those of you who are too young to remember, "Psych" was a term used by teenagers and adolecents in the early to mid nineties meaning "haha I'm kidding"..

    I could care less as traffic has gotten a little easier here in Los Angeles. The higher prices will assure the electric car is built and not crushed like the EV1. Buy a Prius. Buy a Zenn car. autobloggreen.com. Most likely higher prices will remain until ANWR is secured for the right and oil companies. Online poker saves gas.

    I hope it gos to 5. then maybe my wife will let me get the moped I want. 100 miles to the gallon baby. My wife said she wouldnt be caught dead with me riding a moped.

    buagh to make that comparison you have to realize where the strength of our dollar was before the fed. if we were still attached to gold oil would be like maybe $10 a barrel if that. if the fed hadn't been screwing with it when they fully decuppled it from gold in 70's then oil would be lower. thats just a loaded question there.

    You live in canada so you got fresh air for it to be safe to rollerblade. I live in Cinci. IT jsut came out we have the third highest concentration of CO2 in the US. I would die trying to rollerblade the 23 miles to work. Well I would die if it was clean air also. 23 miles fuck that.

    I rollerbladed 30mins to and from work daily. It took 45minutes by bus. I rollerblade FAST.

    Ouchy regarding those CO2 levels :(
