Oh, I don't know, maybe the lives of hundreds of thousands of human beings?

That's okay though, you watch Lou Dobbs or Rush or whoever from your couch in this vicious war, soldier. Duck for cover because a spider might infiltrate your air conditioned home. Those darn Iraqi's can't even find Montana on a map but go on even though "mission accomplished" was years ago.

    Regards,

    P.O.S. aka Pull Out Soon
  4. the iraqi people want us to gtfo so they can retake their country and have pride in rebuilding it. as long as we are there interferring in how they rebuild so it suits our interests then they will not be able to reconcile. we should not control the rebuilding only assist in it if they want it.
and didn't you hear that al queda is almost defeated.
  5. I am proud to say that according to the title of his screed, norcal thinks I am a POS.
  6. whomever thinks that whomever thinks that the usa should pull out of iraq is a pos.

  7. I really think a lot of people miss the big picture on the war, which is IT CANNOT BE WON. You are talking about people that have no fear of death, or anything else for that matter. They actually think they are doing good by killing people and themselves, you cannot change how these fkers think. You are dealing with people who kill women, kids and anything that gets in the way. Although I have a lot of respect for the people who go over and try to make things better I also feel sorry for them as at best all they do is prolong the next bombing or mass killing or whatever these fkers feel like doing next.

I have a brother in the airforce(canadian) and he has been telling me how he is due to go to afganistan later this summer. I really wish he would not go as it just is not worth it in my eyes. Sometimes I think the best thing to do is get out of these countries and use all resources to protect your own country and let others fend for themselves. I know this opinion is kinda selfesh.
  8. this thread is lol funny.

    yea.

wait, read the quote you gave above again, are you referring to the US army there?
  10. good point. hundreds of thousands of human beings are going to die if we don't pull out. um...huhn???

don't worry, I have friends over there getting blown up so I get to have an opinion. not as good as me being there obv, but hey, us armchair generals need to stick together, right?

  12. randomfrost,

sorry didn't realize how that came out. No I was not refering to the US army. Although I am sure some people may feel this way about what the US army does.

  18. ding.......oh oh oh it is al-Qaeda (lol, just wanna be the spelling police, in honor of the spelling bee. i know it can be spelled like 98 different ways too and thats one of them), but i agree that we can not pull out of iraq now. pulling out is going to hurt our image more than staying there. however, if someone wants to pull out they are not a POS (unless you are this person).

  19. I am drunk -errr- buzzed. that count? ps. pigalet is hawt. frf if he doesn't agrii

  20. Excuse me, but, what, pray tell, are our current mission objectives? And God help you if you say "Stop the terrorists." That's not a military objective. "Capture that hill" is a military objective. "Force this army to surrender" is a military objective. "Level Hiroshima with an A-bomb" is a military objective. "Stop the terrorists" is a full-time political commitment requiring intelligence, anti-and-counter-terrorism, and a plethora of other tactics. You can't "win" that; you can't "beat" terrorism. If Al Qaeda in Iraq and Sadr surrendered tomorrow, you haven't "won", because some other jackass would take up the mantle. Fuck, peace for the most part reigns in Northern Ireland, and there are STILL jackasses running around calling themselves IRA in some form or another.

Anyone who things you can "win" whatever is happening in Iraq the same way you can win a war is dishonest for political purposes, or a fucking moron. And that's coming from someone who SUPPORTED the war, and OPPOSES full withdrawal.
  21. uh yea they do have you watched any of the videos of iraqi citizens asking us to gtfo?
do some research man before you talk about something you know little about.
  22. guess im a POS too ... all soliders out of Vietnam2 immed pls.
  23. norcaljeff,

You really think that you can kill them all. It cannot be done. they will always be there, or somewhere. How long has the US been there. How much progress have they made? Even if it does get under control, the day after the US pulls out it will just start again. I just have a hard time believing that it is worth it to sacrifice thousands of lives to make a little bit of progress.
  24. ira bomb anyone lately?
looool @ "can't win"! how come? didn't Ireland win?

Last year I went to Iraq. Before Team America showed up, it was a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles.
  26. so we should, what? wait till they come here? I don't understand the "can't win" aspect.
what, brown people can't live in peace (cheap shot obv. lol). we've already sacrificed thousands. why pull out now?

  27. By whose definition? If "stopping terrorists" is the definition of victory, then if some fucktard kills a couple kids in a shopping mall tomorrow and calls himself Provisional Real Awesome Totally Super-Cool IRA, then, by your own definition, Ireland lost, cause you didn't stop 'em all! Making "stopping terrorists" a military win/lose objective gives terrorists far more power than they deserver. Why do you love terrorists so much, norcaljeff? Are you a terrorist, or just a terrorist-sympathizer?

Global counter-terrorist should not have the same rules as The Game.

    P.S. Everyone loses.
