    Pretty big list .... add Ford, GM, Chrysler, GE, Abbitibi-Bowater for starters (it's not their fault though - bad beats all of them)

    Citi & AIG management didn't spend more than they took in. They threw the money away recklessly, killing 100+ years each of successful business history for the sake of short-term theft. That's far more sinister and revolting than simply "spending more than you can take in".

    The US Government, however, fits your description to a "T". As, unfortunately, do most Americans.
