    yeah he sucks which is why he ousted a record held for 50 years on album sales. right lol

    anytime a comic gets to #4 on a billboard sales for the week, thats just gross, in fact its never been done and it never will be done again

    Two different people told me to watch Dane Cook "Vicious Cycle" on HBO on demand and I thought he was horrible.

    ok so now everyone has to find Dane Cook funny because vegas shades had a little fit. and about the monkey video, its the commentary that is funny, not monkeys having sex. You just dont get it.....

    I think the kool aid skit is hilarious, and a couple others. But i've noticed the influx of airheaded women who thinks he's gods gift to comedy, and that makes me weary. Like I said, sometimes he is a comic genius, sometimes he is a little annoying.

    I just watched Dane Cook's vivcious circle and then watched him on SNL....Now some of his stuff is funny but overall I dont really get it. Is it because he is white and people consider him good looking? Is that why he is so popular? Dont get me wrong some of his stuff was really funny but overall I must be missing something.....And I find EVERYTHING funny....well except Margaret Cho, she always annoyed me for some reason.....

    I fucking can't stand margaret cho. I also heard that Dane Cook was dating jessica simpson, and that makes me think a lot less of him. Now before you go off on me for saying that, think of it this way, that man probably has hot women throwing themselves at him daily, and if you chose Jessica Simpson over them all, you are retarded and heading for a relationship of utter retardedness and confusion.

    and if he wasn't dating simpson, then forget everything i just wrote. and that snl skit I just watched wasn't that funny. I'm sure he is hitting the fratboy demographic dead on though.

    I was into Dane Cook before all the tool bags of the world decided he was trendy to laugh at. Now I don't take much interest into his style of comedy. Lots of respect for what he's done, but it's not my cup of tea.

    Understand that Dane has been trying to break through in the Comedy scene for many years and finally found his niche. Has broken all the records for attendance, cd/dvd sales and has one of the largest fan bases in the world.

    His humor is not for everyone obviously, most of it is too "in your face".

    He's funny and the world knows it.

    Dane Cook- ROCKS!! And-NO!! I do not find him a bit attractive. If you cannot appreciate his humor--maybe it is your problem-o and not Dane's!?!?! If someone doesn't understand his sarcasm and body language -- how is that Dane's problem?

    I do not think everyone has to agree on everything....but don't put your short comings on Dane, because you don't get it!!

    you say that as if Dane Cooks humor is deep and tough to understand. I think his humor is pretty simple, just some of it is hilarious, some is not. But don't mistake him for an intellectual comedian.

    I never liked Dane Cook before. Never really gave him a chance actually. I just finished watching his 2 hour special "Vicious Circle" on YouTube. If anyone feels the way I did, please watch that right now. You will not regret it. I guarantee you will understand the appeal afterwards.

    The two great things about him:

    1) the payoff at the end of his jokes. You're not always laughing as he tells the story, but when he gets to the punchline, it's hilarious.

    2) his physical comedy. He acts out the scenes on stage better than any other comedian I've ever seen.

    Awesome show (it starts off really slow. It really doesn't get going until 30 minutes in)

    I'm a big SNL fan (even now in the lean times) and have to admit not knowing who Dane Cook was this past week and to "to tell you the truth" could care less. Not too often I turn SNL off after the opening, but he was just horrible. You can put an athlete on to host and be funnier than that guy :)

    The reason he's great is not because of the quantity or sometimes even quality of his jokes. But the unique way he presents his bits is just genius. Sometime's I'll even admit that a few of his jokes are even stupid, but I still find myself laughing because he's such a goof-ass. The body language and his weird ass speech mechanics sells it all in the end.

    I think that most people who don't like him havn't given him a chance and probably never will. Some people <span>thought</span> they gave him a chance by watching the Vicious Circle, but that wasn't meant to be a best seller or the best thing to hit HBO. People think that his HBO special was supposed to define him, when it was really an ending to an era for him. If you read his blog you'd understand. I thought it was good.

    His 2 CD's are beyond genius.
