  2. because they're haters
  3. Serious answer- I think going to war with the " axis of evils" and not finding any weapons of mass destruction hurt.

Also, the screwed up laws on war on drugs.

Also, you cant play poker online, that makes me hate US a bit.

And your money should be diff colors like canadian cash, i think i tipped a waittress a hundred on a coke last time i was drunk and in vegas.

Other then that USA is awesome.

  4. The Sorrows of Empire by Chalmers Johnson covers this topic pretty well.

  5. " Now put yourself in the shoes of a Muslim. It's Friday night, but you can't have sex, and you can't jack off. There's sand in your eyes and probably in the crack of your ass, and then some cartoon comes along from a country where people are getting laid, and mocks your prophet. Well you know what? I'd be pretty pissed off too!"
  6. Same reason the friendless geeks hate the star QB.
  7. They hate us for our freedoms. Tehehehe
  8. LS pretty much covered it
  9. because every chance they get our elected officials say "we're the greatest nation on the planet". Nothing like good old fashioned arrogance and conceitedness to draw scorn from others.

    also cause haters gonna hate.

  13. spend a few hours reseraching the history of latin america, and you will have your answer.
  14. Cause were fat, rich, lazy, and we want to be the world police.

That should some it up for the most part.

  16. spend 5 minutes talking to NCJ. then realize that his views account for about 60% of america. not hard to see why people hate us.

This sums it up somewhat. Somehow lots of Americans thinks they are still the richest and most powerful nation in the world, and that makes them the unquestioned greatest, and it's pretty silly. I don't hate America at all, but I would never live there either, and I'm definitely not jealous of Americans.

  21. Another interesting thread. Has anyone watched Obama 2016? D'Souza concludes that the basis of Obama's beliefs and his perspective of the United States' role in the world come primarily from his father and mother and a few other important people in his life. These people and Obama, like LS, RBF, rayspizza, and others, believe that the United States and England should pay a price for their history of colonialism. Why are some of these people afraid to admit that this is where Obama is coming from? Maybe it would be considered kind of anti American by most voters, but who knows. It seems apparent that our current foreign policy is really walking a tight rope between the appeasement of Islam and the appeasement of voters. In any event it creates quite an interesting dilemma for our commander in chief.

His first statement from early this morning spoke of the US rejecting efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others which just happens to be the stated reason for yesterday's embassy attacks.

  26. The freedom and opportunities offered in this country are amazing and shouldn't be taken for granted.

A lot of the inhabitants and elected officials blow. I have much less patriotism I once did, but I am also sure a shit glad I was born here.
