Why do people drink Crappy beer?

    I just don't understand. Have you actually ever tasted budweiser? It is truly nasty. Nasty nasty. I could get long winded but lets just say obv there are times where it's better the quantity over quality (camping with broke ass friends, floating down the river etc).

    Mostly though, why would you ever drink this shit? It's not good, and never will be. I have heard all the excuses as follows (Mostly jobless/living with mom types)

    "Because it is all I ever drank" (wow, you are smart)

    "I just like cheap beer" (seriouslyz?)

    "You are a beer yuppy" (Um actually I'm a broke ho thanks, what is that anyway?)

    "I don't know" (sigh)

    "Ppl have different taste" (Now as with a lot of things in life this is actually true, but not in the case)

    If you enjoy the taste of beer, the gross, foamy, nasty after taste of shit beer isn't even close to the flavors of better brew. It's like saying well I like brown weed, I mean that mega purple chronic with crystals is ok, but I'm just used to it. Doesn't work that way.

    If you always had something (pizza, chronic, a car, soda, a piece of ass) that was ok and you were used to it, then something else amazing came along and was much better, why would you stick with your old shit? Life it too short.

    If you TRULY (not just in front of your emo friends) in your heart of hearts think buttmeizer/pabsts/natty ice is Better (not less expensive, not you are used to it, BETTER) then Fat Tire, Heineken, Corona with limes, Sheaf Stout, you are retarded. And it is not even close.

    Close your eyes, pour them in a cup, take a drink from both, and kick yourself in the ballz. I know it is "cool" in your group of friends to drink Pabts (GAWD I hate GUTTER PUNKS), but you sir, are a loser, and no sir, Pabsts taste like I would imagine chilled and filtered cow urine taste like. Though I wouldn't know personally, go ask your sister with the weird body fluid fetish.

    Way Cheaper

    Less Filling (im referring to bud light etc

    =Easier to get drunk

    To get drunk. WTF? It's beer, not wine or liquor. I agree that there are a lot of awful beers out there (the King included), but I can drink Miller Lite, Chimay, PBR, or a variety of other beers without issues. If I'm having beer with a meal, it will be a good beer. If I'm drinking at the tables in Vegas or on a boat for a long period of time, it's Miller Lite or Amstel. If I got to a bar and they have $1 pounders of PBR, then it's a PBR night.

    I think being a beer snob is one of the biggest wastes of time.

    Oh, and Heineken is shit, in the states and Europe. I haven't had a glass of Heineken since I left Amsterdam two years ago. Corona sucks too, try a Pacifico.

    I don't know why people drink beer while the wonder that is a delicious cocktail exists. that being said, coors light > bud > nasty cheap beer > good beer. I don't want to have to use a fork and chew my damn beer

    Go ahead, you already mentioned bud light which is a total fail.....There are hundreds of beers that are so good, these are just a few I enjoy..many local beers you can't get from my region and vise versa ...less filling....easier to get drunk?...ummm...the better beers such as fat tire have a higher alcohol content then the 3.0 that is in broads watching their weight beers....wow...

    I like the taste of a lot of different beer, but I'm like most people - If my local pub is offering $2 Miller Light night, and Corona/Bass/Harp, etc... is all $5 a pop, you can guess what I'll be drinking that night. If all beer were the same price, nobody would drink Beast, Natty, or whatever.

    Now if I'm planning a big barbeque and go to the liquor store to pick up a 12 pack, you can bet your ass I'm getting something good.

    There is a time and place to be picky, but it's not a random Tuesday night at pool league.

    I just threw out 3 random ones, and by far are not my top favs, but fat tire is simply delicious....it is all relative..and compared to pabsts or buttmeizer..these beers are insanely good....

    Many of my friends rather have a 24-pack of laker (Canada's crap) than a six pack of corona.

    I love Newcastle, but sometimes I just want a crisp Coors Light or a grimey Mickeys. Variety is the spice of life my friend dont be so concerned about what other people are drinking. I too love Heineken,but would never think my Heineken is steps above the next guys Bud light.

    Some people probably think this is a crappy beer, but it is my favorite. My fridge is always stocked with this. I also like Bud Light, and I HATE HATE HATE Corona and Heineken. I hate Miller Lite the most of all, so much that I can't even drink it because it tastes like absolute shit to me. And I can drink almost anything. I think the OP is a moron.

    It is all about personal preference.
