  1. An interesting article I read a few weeks back that goes more in depth into what Ron Paul is about. I'm not saying it's all truth and gospel, it may or may not be, I'm not a political anaylst, but this article is worth a read. Skim through it at least and find the interesting points mentioned and make your own judgments. Believe me, I love some of Ron Paul's ideas but at least you'll ave an idea of how those thoughts may or may not work.

  2. I stopped at "neocon guru Milton Friedman". That article wasn't biased...

I've posted readings of audiobooks of Ron Paul's books. If you want, I'll post them again.

    edit*

Ok i've read more and am baffled at how she disagrees with (and extrapolates that Paul is a racist!?!?) this paragraph she found on his campaign site.
"The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence-not skin color, gender, or ethnicity."

    ummm....how is that racist?

One thing I will never understand about today's liberals is how they continually decry about the negative impacts of free-market capitalism without recognizing its powerful capacity as an efficient productive engine which results in greater wealth for everyone. Liberals continually attack the free-market notions without ever providing some sort of counter argument/proposal of what they would prefer to see in place of the current system. Lastly, it's one of the most distracting characterizations that people term the system that we currently have as the free-market. Much of the current system cannot be termed free in any sense that the most ardent supporter of Capitalism would prefer.
  3. oops...finally made it to the end. look who wrote it.

Sherry Wolf is on the editorial board of the International Socialist Review. She can be reached at sherry@internationalsocialist.org.

shocker. Do people actually still believe this Socialist stuff? We only had an entire century of socialist failure to act as an example for why it doesn't work and is impractical.

I think I could go through that and effectively refute every single sentence. What a bunch of misleading crap that entire article was.
  4. haha yeah real interesting article. I cant believe that someone actually thinks that.
