My print out from the Rio of my buy-ins and cashes say I lost a couple hundred while I was there. Plus my W2 says I only won $11K. And Ive been keeping records and receipts of everything im playing. Im fairly certain I wont be paying any taxes.

Well some of the people actually need welfare and need the entitlements to get them through a rough patch till they get back on their feet. These people may actually care for the welfare of our country. They are legitimately trying to be self sufficient. Unfortunately, they are not in the majority of those receiving those entitlements.

How people can have such a distorted view of welfare is truly disturbing. The self-delusion required to frame it in the way the do for their arguments is a feat indeed.

I personally think all of y'all debating who will be better between Obama and Romney are largely fools as neither will do anything to get our country on a better path. I at least halfway respect the people here who foolishly (IMO) believe either will actually make a difference in a positive way but f voting for either of these guys cause they're the lessor evil. A large % of the electorate in this election in no way expects the guy they vote for to do anything to fix this country-they just dislike the other guy a little more and dont have the conviction to vote for some 3rd party candidate because their distaste for someone overrides all reason. It's also ironic they willingly contribute to the two party system they despise so much because they dislike a major candidate so much. Do some of yall who yearn for someone like Ron Paul but vote for Romney or Obama not see how hypocritical you are and realize that you're ensuring the two major parties retain their grasp on the power of this country?


I was leaning Romney a few months ago but I decided I couldn't look at myself in the mirror if I voted for him over someone I agree with waaaaaaaay more Gary Johnson/Ron Paul. I'd rather Romney win than Obama but I won't cry or rejoice in glee regardless of who is elected because I don't think either is positive for the US/world.
