So the Simpsons are doing a premier in one of the Springfields around the nation and I think you should all get out there and vote for Illinois since it's obviously the real springfield.
http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/...ns-contest.htm -
Do you have to register with usatoday to vote for this?
-
nope just click on the town
-
Done. That would be cool if Illinois wins.
-
I voted missouri bitches..
-
It's obviously Illinois watch the video and you'll see it's easy
-
MO>>>ILL
-
i checked and they dont have PA :(
-
The real Springfield is actually Kentucky .....
that was from the first time they ever aired which state they were from ..
Every time they air it now ... it switches ...
Cant wait for this movie .. -

Springfield, Illinois — Population: 111,454 (2000)

Springfield, Missouri
Population (year 2000): 151,580 -
yes if you are counting methheads
-
Interestingly enough the springfield in simpsons has 30,720 population and shelbyville is less than a half hour from springfield Illinois. Whatcha got now
-
I always thought it was illionios.
I just watched the oregon one to see how they could justify them being the right one, and they went on some dumb ass search for homer and bart.
it was apthetic, they obv don't desserve that. -

why vote missouri and then copy my post?
-
vote cast for the real Springfield...ILLINOISE baby!!!
-
If that's true, the list would be narrowed to Oregon, Colorado, and Vermont.
Illinois ftw -
I've always felt like it should be Illinois so it got my vote
-
I threw you guys a bone and voted for Illinois. I've always kinda felt that's where it was anyway.
-
How many of them have Shelbyville as the neighboring town Sharp? Hmmmmmm
Only one that I can think of -
choco with a quick backhand winner down the line
-
They are neighboring in Kentucky as well.
Like CFH said, it was originally KY. -
Wrong it's well known that it's a mixture of Kentucky and Illinois, but kentucky sucks and has redneck aids and weirdos in shacks in the hills, so Illinois wins with normal people
-
^^ (choco's post) this is true, especially the KY part...
-
well yeah everyone knows they don't assign a state to it, but it's fairly easy to see after putting the hints together that it's a mixture of the two I just gave.
