  1. On Bovada - tomorrow's match between Federer and Julien Benneteau (currently ranked #32)

    Federer -10000
    Benetteau +2200

Rosol had to be more than this.

  2. crazy shit. I didn't think it was possible to not have djokovic, nadal, and federer at least make the quarters, and really the semis.

It was, he had just gotten into a huge argument before. If you missed it you'll see it again, about as childish as it gets.

lol, gl with that. he pinched a 5 setter against (I suspect an injury laden) Rafa, on grass

Kohlschreiber's on fire lately, no way Rosol gets any further

Agreed, and Kohlschreiber has also beaten Nadal in the past two weeks so I doubt he'll be all that impressed.
  7. Only saw the first set last night as it conflicted with Italy dismantling the Germans, but holy shit that guy was playing out of his mind. Andy Murray has a giant free path to the final now... he's still got like Roddick, DelPo, Ferrer, Tsonga in his bracket, but he doesn't have the best two players left so it's pretty huge for him to have his potential irrationally built up by his delusional nation again. He'll be British until the final, and Scottish after. As usual.

    Fuck - I didn't jump on this.

  12. gotta be a crushing loss if you have this dude at 22-1 and hes up two sets to none
  13. Something is definitely weird, Nadal out, Fed struggling vs Randos, and yesterday sooo many seeds lost. The Murray-Tsonga side of the brackets has so little competition left after 2.5 rounds, those two and Ferrer (who sucks at Wimbledon) and Delpo fighting it out for who loses to Novak I guess.

  14. Serena on serve in a tight 3rd set against Zheng Jie, who has played phenomenally to get this far...

That is amazing, and really speaks to both how flawed the ranking system is, and how incredibly consistent Federer is in making deep runs.

When you factor in his age and the fact that he has danced every dance never missing any, adding wear and tear year after year that breaks down younger, stronger guys, it is just incredible what Federer continues to do.
  16. And let me be the first to work this into the thread - lol Murray
  17. Cilic beats Querry in the 5th set 17-15, second longest match ever at Wimbledon at 5 hours, 30 minutes.

About half the duration of the Mahut-Isner match that lasted 11 hours, 5 minutes - that ended with Isner winning the 5th set at 70-68.

  18. See the match earlier in the womens where one player won 24/24 points in the first set? doubt i would bother staying out for the 2nd set
  19. amazing match, watched almost the whole 5th set. Cilic looks like eli manning

On Andy Roddick. If only someone had booked it. :(

I don't wanna go all zeedustin in a golf thread, but Andy was clearly getting bounced early.
  22. Just cos I knew wab80 would lose if he went along with his plan I backed kohlschreiber last night. Cheers for the free money bud
  23. Best tennis day of the year that doesn't involve two of Rafa, Djoker, and Fed playing a Grand Slam match...

All 8 men's and all 8 women's Round of 16 matches, starting right about now. Go!

  28. Glad Sharapova lost - fuck that screaming, man shouldered bitch
  29. Anyone actually follow women's tennis? Threw a couple degen bets down on Serena -160 and Kerber -140 tomorrow. What say you women's tennis aficionados?

  30. I like both the other players lol. THink Azarenka wins the whole thing
