  1. My computer is being a little bitch whenever I try to connect to certain wireless networks even when I have the passwords. For instance I am picking up a one bar signal from across the street right now I think and im connected to the internet but its running kind of slow obviously and that is an unsecured network.
I have a network in my house that has full signal and it is secured and I have the password and obv put it in to connect and my computer just refuses to connect. It will just say that it is trying to acquire the network address forever then just switch and instead of saying connected next to the network it will just say automatic and not connect. Yet I can connect to the other network and use the internet? wtf?

Can anyone help me out so I can use the network I want.
  2. haha.
  3. I don't remember where but somewhere it says reset network settings or something like that. Its gonna be in the top left of one of the boxes you've probably been fuckin around with. It might be when u are puttin the password in.

I clicked on that and it fixed my problem.

  4. are the security settings correct on the router?

If your not sure, log into the router and set the network to unsecured, see if you can connect.

If you can its an issue with the security settings within windows

If you cant its most likely an issue with the router/modem, dependent on what you have set up...

    hope that helps..
