I've been having a lot more disconnects lately on all the sites I play on, primarily UB, stars, FT, and Bo-AutoFold...er Dog. Presently using a Lynksys Wireless-G, 2.4 GHZ., model.
Sometimes I reconnect in time, other times not. Really nerve-racking if you're sitting on a monster with money already in the pot.
Any suggestions on whether I need a Router upgrade, or any other remedies to try. Thanks in advance. -
i play everyday all day on a wireless and rarely do i have a problem. i know thats not helpful, but thats been my experience.

You might want to consider a flash upgrade to your routers firmware. I upgraded a linksys WRT54G v2 with Thibor 15c. It allows for boosting of your wireless transmission (i.e. a stronger signal). I can now connect a PDA to wirelessly surf internet from much farther away from router, than with standars linksys firmware. Here is the link - http://www.thibor.co.uk/

there is also DD-WRT, whitch is what i have upgraded the firmware on my linksys router to. You have to troubleshoot all your network gear and find out what is causing the problem. If it is because of a weak signal then this may do the trick.

You may run a spyware checker. I know it sounds like a long shot but I had processes running that were spyware and were causing flickers in my wireless connection. do a google search on Adaware.
